Nafzger Park

For years I never visited Nafzger Park because of it’s lack of scenery. Only trees on its perimeter and no lovely gardens like Goodale park.
The park is very open and plain, with huge fields for soccer and foot ball. There is a ¾ track that runs around the park. There is also a swing set and small play ground for children.
Now that I am older I can appreciate the open space. I consider this for safety reasons as these days I am concerned with people hiding and attacking others. Also because its open think that discourages illegal activity, as everyone can pretty much see what you are doing.
I come here and walk the track and bring my son to play. Sometimes I bring my dog along as well. There aren’t a huge number of dogs here which is good and most of the ones who do come are small breeds so I am not too concerned with my pup’s safety.
