This restaurant is located within the OSU Golf course, but is open to the public. The building itself is old, but very well kept. The high vaulted ceilings give it a very open feeling along with great views of the course and a covered outside patio as well. It is clean and while touching on that old school feel, it is modern. The old huge fireplace is cool too. They also have large party rooms than can be separated to accommodate large groups like weddings. The bar is not full service, and smallish, but caters good beer and wine, and has a group of nice flat screens TVs. Food is good, Ive ate there a few times. While the menu is pub style, you are served in a rather formal environment with crystal water glasses and white linen napkins. They also have a large salad buffet as well. Today I had their club… ham, turkey, bacon, Swiss, tomato, lettuce served on a toasted pretzel bun, topped with this lightly spiced mustard based sauce. I recommend trying it, I think its good and I’m a fan.
