This location never, ever has any«hot and ready» pizzas available. I have been here four times and had to wait at least 8 minutes three times. They never seemed busy any of those times either. As a former Little Caesars employee I am embarrassed by this, as the«Hot and Ready» promotion is their main benefit over any other chain. I am writing this review as I am waiting if that tells you anything. There is only one other customer in here right now and two waiting when I came in. It all comes down to bad management in my opinion.

The one thing little Caesars has going for it is hot and ready pizzas. When I stopped in there were none. No regular crust, no deep dish, nothing. Then the cashier proceeds to offer to make whatever I wanted. So I ordered. Then I saw him go back and forth from making my pizza to taking other customers orders(including handling cash) then back to working on my pizza without ever putting on gloves, washing his hands, or doing anything to sanitize. Never again.

I didn’t realize I was calling 10 minutes before they closed. They didn’t want to sell me a pizza. Back when I worked at a place like this, we took orders until closing time and stayed open until we were done. I said forget it and went to pizza primo, where I will be going in the future.

I had pretty low hopes for this pizza chain, being that I normally dont like pan pizza. As long as youre getting cheese or pepperoni there wont be a wait and youll only pay $ 5. $ 8 for 3 meat and a 10min wait. When fresh, this pizza is amazing. The sauce is peppery and the cheese… the cheese is perfect. The crust is fresh too. When youre in a hurry and need food fast, Ill go here instead of waiting in line at a McDonlads or Wendys. This place cant be beat for speed or yummy-ness

This Little Caesar’s is extra clean, which is nice to see when comparing it to some of the other shops in town. Also, if you want realllllly good breadsticks, ask for them to make you some that are extra done. They’re so much better when they’re a little bit crispy!

Let me take you back to the glorious year of 1994. I was working at a video store in a small town in Ohio. Usually when lunchtime came around, I’d grab a sandwich from the shop next door, but one day I decided to change it up a bit, so I went to the Little Caesar’s across the street. Inside, they had a «Simon» game, where you could pay a quarter and try to push the buttons to match the pattern of lights and sounds. If you got a certain score, you won food, and the better your score, the better the food… from a chocolate bar to Crazy Bread to a free small pizza. Well, I was making $ 3.25 an hour back then(yes, $ 3.25 an hour, but I was a kid, what did I care), so lunch for 25 cents was always welcome, and I had a pretty good memory, so it wasn’t too difficult to win. Over the summer, I probably spent several cumulative hours standing in that Little Caesar’s lobby, punching colored buttons and earning free food, and the unique smell of Little Caesar’s Pizza became very familiar to me. All of these memories came flooding back recently when I stepped into the new Little Caesar’s in Clintonville, because it smells exactly as I remember it. Why did I tell you that story? I don’t know. The point is, Little Caesar’s Pizza is delicious. What’s more, it’s cheap. Cheap and delicious is a very rare combination in the world of pizza, but Little Caesar’s nails it. And the feather in its cap is the Hot-n-Now pizza: large cheese and pepperoni pizzas ready to purchase, no advance ordering required, for $ 5. Five dollars. I would only have had to work for an hour and a half at the video store to buy one of these, and I’d have eaten like a king for two days. Anyway, I welcome Little Caesar’s to Clintonville, and I’m glad this once ubiquitous pizza chain is making a comeback. And it shares its building with a video store! Apropo!
