Kroger Food and Pharmacy

I stopped in here looking for some road trip munchies. Typical super market lay out. Place is spacious and pretty clean. Parking lot layout could use a major overall. I was not paying to much attention to prices as I was just picking up a few items and did not want to pick them up at a gas station.
I do not know why but the larger a strip mall becomes, the worst the parking situation seems to be. The entrance and exits back up because of the volume and intersections are located where they impede the busiest part of the parking lot. Also, when you enter, the store your actually trying to get to may be on the other side of the complex because the signs do not indicate where in the strip mall they are located.

Because I’m fairly easy to please, this Kroger store will get a 2 star review from me. The location of this place is terrible. Just getting in and out of shopping center takes 10 – 15 minutes and there are no actual direct routes to their parking lot. After spending hours in the car coming to visit my parents, this was quite frustrating. To be honest, it’d be frustrating if this was the Kroger I’d have to shop at even if I lived locally. The layout of the store isn’t bad. I was actually able to find everything I needed for a faijita dinner quicker than it took me to get into the parking lot and parked. The produce is iffy, but after some picking around I was able to find adequate items. What really did it for me was the staff. The cashier seemed to be under the influence of something. The words were slurred and there was some stumbling around. All movements were incredibly slow. I wasn’t quite sure what was going on… and I’m still rather confused by it. On my way to my parents, I told them we had stopped at Kroger and mentioned which one. Both of there responses were more or less «dumb choice, should have gone to the one off State Street». Lesson learned.

Kroger gas right next door, redbox, natural bulk food. this location is much better than the ones I’m used to. I would give more stars if they had a larger organic section and if the parking lot was set up a bit better.

I love Kroger– but not a fan of this store in particular. Employees don’t talk/​greet and never seem like they’re happy.

I just want fresh vegetables without having to ask the produce employees. I don’t want managers specials because all the products are expiring. I want to buy organic because it is the right decision for me and not because they are the only products that don’t expire in the same week. I want to shop on Sunday and find stocked shelves because it is my slowest day I the week. I want to shop at Kroger because it is closest. I think Kroger wants me to go to Meijer. Message received.

I used to think this Kroger would have everything since it’s in a good shopping area of Polaris, I guess I was wrong.
When I come in to any department whether it be meat and seafood or deli I’m not greeted. Sometimes they even leave as if I’m not standing there waiting for them to give me something I want behind the counter. When they return they do not apologize for just leaving and making me wait.
I also notice this store doesn’t have the freshest baked chicken. My local Kroger on Park Road has much better quality and they have less staff than this one. In my opinion this Kroger is trying to keep up with the Park Road location because they know quality and service is going downhill compared to their other store down the road.
Let’s just say this isn’t my ideal Kroger and I can get better quality and service elsewhere without having to drive far for it.

I really like my local Kroger. They seem to have a really nice and over-​qualified staff that goes above and beyond and takes pride in their job. That is rare for a grocery store. The selection there is decent, pretty good deli, bakery is your average grocery store bakery. They do a good job of switching out bad fruit/​produce.

This a nice Kroger. It’s updated, well stocked, clean, and friendly service.

the only reason i go here is for Redbox. I find the prices at Giant Eagle MUCH cheaper! No idea why people think Kroger is cheaper. Ive tried several stores and GE wins everytime. Their gas deals are worth it alone!
I find Krogers produce to be old and dirty. I bought mushrooms here a while back and they lasted 2 days in my fridge before they turned to mold…2 days is not nearly long enough when compared to GE’s or any other store really.

Their dairy case is currently under construction. There is a small case up front by the registers, but they’re having trouble keeping it filled during their construction. This leads to very cranky customers, who then scream at the cashiers who are then also cranky. The police actually had to be called while I was there tonight over two customers ready to duke it out with the supervisor. I’d avoid this location for now.

Pretty nice Kroger. The salad bar is nice, they have a good variety. Only thing I missed was chopped or sliced olives, the only have whole ones :(
