Kool Smiles

Kool Smiles has been the worst dental experience I have ever had. In no particular order these are the issues we have had. 1. Incorrect and confusing billing. 2. Long wait times (1.5 hours before being seen) 3. Lack of communication with my kids to put them at ease about procedures. 4. Lack of explanation of procedures needing to be done and not willing to answer our questions about dental work. 5. Impossible to get in contact with by telephone. 6. We are told my daughter needs a space maintainer after a tooth being pulled, had to beg to get the mold done on the next appointment, we are told it would be ready in 2 weeks but a month later it is not ready, today we are told the mold was not good enough and they need to do a new one. (Keep in mind my daughter had a terrible experience with this and still whines about this botched procedure) 7. EVERY time we came in we had to fill out another barrage of Insurance paperwork. For accepting TriCare Dental you sure make things super inefficient. 8. RUDENESS! In person the people at the desk lack the ability to be professional when communicating and on the phone are even worse. We can hear you when you pass the phone and say, «She just don’t wanna go here no mo».
We will be finding a new dentist for our children. It’s unfortunate that a dental facility geared towards children would be the complete opposite in reality.

My daughter likes it here. My daughter had an extraction and it was fast and harmless she claims. Although, the front desk clerks aren’t so welcoming. Like how the visit is usually no more than 1 hour.

What a bunch of mean girls at the front desk yesterday when I went. The girls were very unpleasant and acted like they did not want to be there. My daughter is three and of course nervous about visiting. They did not welcome us or make us feel comfortable at all. As soon as my daughter is five she will not be going here anymore. The front desk peopole suck and i will be letting their manager know.

Pleasant front desk. Saturday was less crowded, otherwise it’s normally a mad house. Cleaning went well. No issues.

We got a second opinion from Dr. Buchanan and he told me that he «did not see anything he would want to put a drill to» after reviewing my daughter’s x-​rays. Kool smiles may have drilled a perfectly healthy tooth or may have been rescheduling in anticipation of more cavities, I’m not sure. Either way, they have not been reliable nor have they exhibited any concern for my children as individual patients which gives me no reason to trust this business.
