KFC

Totally understaffed. The server threatened to walk out while I was ordering. They had a line wrapped around the store and it wasn’t even a busy time of day. They ran out of chicken. How does a kfc run out of chicken!?! I would recommend going to church’s instead. It’s right next door and you’re avoiding this place. I will never eat here again.

Looks nice. When it’s busy, service falters. Had a group of 8 – 10 in front of me. Took forever with their order. The cashier was nice enough. Still managed to mess my order up. Sometimes you just need mac n cheese, and instead they gave me corn. Not too happy. My 2 piece was kind of gross and not quite cooked all the way. Super disappointed. Better off going to Church’s or Buckeye Express.

First of all, it’s a KFC, not sure why you are looking at Unilocal reviews for it. Unless you’ve genuinely never been/​never had KFC, for which I congratulate you.
Someone picked up the food and took it home for me so I can’t speak to the location. But I’m told this KFC looked pretty modern and new, and fancy for a KFC.
I haven’t been to a KFC in many, many years so I didn’t realize sides include biscuits and other Souther style food. I’m used to KFC serving up fries and various salads — or maybe it’s one of those weird Canada-​US differences.
The chicken was pretty much what I remember. It wasn’t horribly greasy which was a nice surprise. We got a bucket (10? 12?) of spicy fried chicken, which (surprise surprise) wasn’t spicy at all. Nice crispiness though. A tad underseasoned for my liking but that may be a preference thing.
I should also mention that my taste may have been a little off as this chicken comprised part of project homemade chicken and waffles. If you haven’t yet, I suggest you go and try it. It’s pretty brilliant.
