I travel every single week for work, and this is definitely one of my absolute favorite hotels I stay in. It’s ideal for business travels — it’s clean, the rooms are updated and functional, and it has a nice big lobby. It also has DIRECTTV– this is def a rarity with hotels to have tons and tons of channels to choose from(as well as a TV guide) for those of us that travel frequently for work, it’s the little things, and this is definitely a huge huge plus for me to be able to flip through an actual guide and scroll through all the channels. The work out room is nice, the staff is always accommodating, and I love the location — there’s pretty much anything you could want nearby(target, Starbucks, Panera, Cracker Barrel, chick fil a, and tons and tons of more restaurants) the rooms come with a full fridge and microwave, silverware, etc so if you like to just eat solo in your room sometimes(like me) this is also a plus. Just note the toiletries are minimal(just pumps in the shower) if you’re like me and bring all your own stuff this is a non issue but just take note. Anyways I love this place hence the long review. Definitely stay here !

This is my first time at a Home2. I stayed one Friday night in early October. The rate was reasonable. I moved hotels after one night. I didn’t eat anything while there. I stayed on the 3rd floor. The employee checking me in was distracted conversing with a peer. I was a side note. Note that housekeeping is limited, with full service every 5 days. Pros– big room, comfy bed, good AC, kitchenette with dishes and dishwasher, giant TV with Directv. Parking is ok. Comfortable couch. Plenty of surface space for working. Very clean. Soft towels. Cons– this hotel chooses not to allow me access to the HDMI port on the TV, putting it on my «do not stay» list. It’s ridiculous to block HDMI. Even on the 3rd floor I could hear the merry makers at the outdoor fireplace as late as midnight-not cool. The fridge sounded sick and the shower(no tub) had low pressure and rust in the corners of the stall. Lastly, the bed side light has a hidden on power switch that is directly beside the bulbs! You can easily burn your hand turning the lamp off!

I booked this location for the family I work for to attend two separate weekend activities at Fort Benning. First, the staff is tremendous to work with on booking, questions, re-arranging schedules, and all those other little requests. Second, the location to other places to eat are perfect. If you need an easy and comfortable place to stay while in town, stay here!

I stayed here for a week. The staff is helpful and nice. The free breakfast is pretty good, with lots of choices. Bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurts and waffles. Pool is on the smallish size but who cares? The décor is very IKEA inspired. The beds are super comfy, a nice size tv, a kitchen and everything is clean. Pet friendly. Close to super markets and restaurants. Would defiantly stay here again.

My husband & I stayed here about 2 months ago. We were visiting family & needed a nice, clean, upscale place to stay for 1 night. I’m glad I chose this hotel. It served its purpose for 1 night & would have been awesome for 2 or more nights, if needed. Everything was new & updated — loved the look & feel of the lobby, as well as the room. LOVED the fitness center. Cons — I came in about 9:00pm to get a room & no one was at the front desk. Granted it was very late; however, I waited almost 20 min for someone to greet me(I believe that was only because I called the desk phone for someone to hear it & then they came). Also, I wish breakfast had some meat options(bacon, sausage, etc). In summary, the cons above weren’t enough to give it less than 5 stars. Still a swanky hotel that I’d stay at again when I visit Columbus. Price point was good, compared to the other hotels nearby.

This place sucks donkey dicks, it really does. If you like hotels that are conceptualized by IKEA, this dump is for you. First of all the room doesn’t look bad, kind of like a Microtel with space. It’s got a bit of eye appeal in the Euro Cool school of Design. Plus a big screen TV, gotta be 47 inches. But things go downhill from here. Because cleaning is kept at a minimum, if someone calls in sick, it creates a log jam, especially on weekends. I tried to check in at 4:00 pm and I was told my room wasn’t ready yet. Went out to eat and was back at 5:45 pm, still not ready. I finally get in at 6:30 pm. The worse is over right… wrong. I have my own preferences as to what I want to see on TV, so I bring my own DVD player and DVD’s with me. Home 2 has it set up so that you have no choice but to watch whatever is offered on DirectTV. I managed to over ride it and get my DVD player to work on the monitor, but the frigging TV set kicked me off and returned to Direct TV programming after 15 minutes. Next day, time to shower up and go to work. Shower stalls are cheaply built and jammed and were a hassle to work with. Instead of soap bars and shampoo bottles, they have these two dispensers glued to one side of the shower stall. Of course the dispensers fell apart the minute I tried to figure out how to use them. Breakfast area was tiny and limited to cereal and microwave junk food. When I got back, my room keys refused to work, I had to wait 4 hours for them to figure out how to get me into my room. In addition, parking is minimal and the pool is nothing but a big bath tub. If your inconvenienced, they’ll try to make it up to you by offering a bottle of water. Hey pal! Take your water and jam it up your ass, I’m not coming back anymore. Easily the flimsiest, shittyest hotel experience I’ve ever had.

This is my fist time staying at a Home2. This one is pretty nice. it has a very clean, IKEA-like feel to it which I am ok with. As soon as you walk in the gym is on the right which is a location I am not used to. It has a decent gym for a hotel but I think self conscious folks might not like being in there as it is right out in the open where everyone walking through the lobby can watch you work out. The rooms are large and modern. with a full size fridge and a very nice shower. I think the breakfast is bit lacking and like many other hotels they just don’t know how to do oatmeal. but their toppings bar is top notch. 9 choices to top your oatmeal with makes up for the poor oatmeal itself. this is not a hot breakfast with bacon and eggs. Its a continental breakfast but with a bunch of extras. I plan to stay here again and will try other home2 site in the future.

the room was better in person than the reviews on travel sites! The electric roll down Blackout curtains are a necessary detail & help me sleep easier away from home. Modern décor and very clean. Sometimes hotels have dirty surprises(courtyard by Marriott gave us a blood stained towel) — the hotel cleaning staff here must love their job because they took care of all the details! And the room is clean, spacious and has all the amenities we needed. They even let us check out a convection burner and pots/pans. Home cooked meals– easy peasy. I stayed here because other hotels were sold out– now this is my new favorite. I’ll come back. They didn’t do anything to lose a star. It’s just not a $ 600/nte 5 star hotel. They are amazing though! 5 stars for a Columbus GA hotel!

Nice place, nice staff and the Yummy Sunny Side Up sandwiches made my day. I also enjoyed hanging out by the fire pit at dusk. Thanks for a great stay!
