Listen, can you put a price on thick Texas toast and mouth watering heart stopping cheese? Yes you can and its cheap, which makes it that much more accessible to start growing your own dangerously expanding waist line. These sandwiches are absolutely delicious and they are always exactly what I’m looking for when I need me some quick secret guilty pleasure. Gooeyz is like that mistress you aren’t really worried someone finds out about. I mean that fried cheese cube garnish? Game over. Done down Gooeyz wins.

I have been a here a few times since my gf plays in a volleyball league that is behind the bar and Gooeyz. Think of it as a cross between Tom and Chee and Melt. Tom and Chee was alright, but the sandwiches were tiny. Melt is good, but there sandwiches are way too big in my opinion.
Gooeyz falls right in the middle. I have gotten a ½ sandwich and a full one before, but the only I have ever tried is the Gyro GC– It was pretty good, a little greasy, but the meat had a good taste. I love there fries– They are fresh cut and give you a good amount (easily can share with 1 other person)
The place is pretty tricky to find– Its behind the Sunoco gas station on Grandview right near the 670 interchange.

Grilled cheese is such a staple for comfort food. Getting the simple grilled cheese with the tomato basil soup is the best way to go when you have a craving! It’s done just right and tastes delicious when dipping the grilled cheese in the soup. The seasoned fries are also a good addition to any order!
