Have to look for this place as its off the beaten path. Kind of dark and dingy, but I usually order take-out. Food is good but not exemplary. Not too pricey, even at dinner. Good options if you have a vegetarian in your family.

As a Chinese, this restaurant got some really authentic dishes. The servers right there are nice too!

This restaurant is a solid representation of both Americanized Chinese food as well as the real stuff that you aren’t used to seeing on a menu. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and will be willing to help you make selections. Overall, I wasn’t blown away by the food, but I did think it was quite good. The ambiance does leave a lot to be desired as it is fairly drab and dark. Basically, I think this is a great place to stop by if you want to pick up some take out Chinese, but I’d avoid the dining room.

Edible but not tasty. Ordered delivery from here thinking«oh it’s got great reviews» I’ve learned to not to trust Columbus reviews as this is the 3rd time it’s happened. The orange chicken wasn’t awful but it tasted«off» There was broccoli and shrimp in the wonton soup, so it stank as soon as you opened it. The tako yaki wasn’t horrid but the octopus was SUPER rubbery… The crab Rangoon was NOT in a wonton, and it was imitation crab with mayo and cream cheese, who puts mayo in crab Rangoon?! That wasn’t edible at all. It was like the«seafood mix» subway used to have scooped into a dough of some kind, folded over and deep fried. And I don’t know how you screw up fortune cookies but they tasted like SOAP! We ordered delivery for the 4 of us and we all had the same comments about each item «Wtf is in this?! This isn’t crab Rangoon!» «Omg this isn’t the wonton is it?! What are vegetables doing in there?» «The wonton smells like a bad fart» «The orange chicken isn’t the worst» «OMG my fortune cookie tastes like soap» «Here have half of mine… *bites in* Oh wait. Never mind, mine is gross too» … I dont know maybe it’s an Ohio thing, I tried the mustard potato salad from Kroger thinking it would taste normal but it was 99% mayo with barely a hint of mustard and carrots and bell pepper? It was way too weird and just gross! Potato salad does not get bell pepper! It gets celery! And mustard potato salad should be way more mustard-tasting!

This place was definitely just«ok.“it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t mmmmm good either. I got the lunch special with szechuan shrimp. The shrimp were decent sized but the flavor wasn’t the greatest. egg rolls were definitely low on the scale of what ive gotten elsewhere-and unfortunately I always judge a place based off their eggrolls. Really wanted to like the place as it has decent reviews-but I wont be back

Went here on a whim hoping to find a good Chinese place. Unfortunately this was pretty standard fare. I had the General Tso’s chicken of course and it tasted a bit more«Chinese» than«American» mall style that I prefer. The service was reasonable and the place fairly clear, but I likely won’t revisit.

Good, solid, cheap Chinese. Large portions. Friendly service. A great place to take the kids.

This was some of the best Chinese takeout I have had! We ordered the sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, and some crab rangoons. At lunch prices it was about $ 20 and we got enough food for two adults and two children with a little left over. The food was flavorful and fresh. The chicken was white meat, not that suspicious gray matter you get at some Chinese places. The sweet and sour sauce was amazing! We all ate until we were completely stuffed– very good, and very affordable. I’m giving them five stars even though they shorted me an eggroll.

This place is awesome :) the general Tso’s chicken is delicious. The egg drop soup is yummy, and the fried potatoe croquet are the best! And wash it down with the apple soda :) I ordered everything for take out and it was ready in 10 minutes PS Avoid the crab Rangoon and fried wontons… They aren’t good and I do not recommend them.

Just tried this place yesterday after deciding a) the 5 or 6 Chinese places we had tried in Dublin area were only so-so and b) I was sick of driving to UA when a Chinese craving did hit. This place is maybe 5 – 10 minutes from our house, and well worth the drive. My husband got the General Tsos and I had the sesame chicken, plus won ton soup, crab rangoons, egg rolls, and some potato croquets. We loved everything, and the dinner takeout portion was huge. I think this is the first takeout Chinese place I’ve been to where they actually seem to season the food — egg rolls had pepper in them and the wonton soup had a nice little kick. The sauce that came with the crab rangoons was also awesome — not some out of the bottle goopy mess. The meat(which is where I’m probably the pickiest about Chinese food) seemed to be mostly white meat, instead of mystery chicken bits. :) Highly recommend!

This is by FAR my fave Chinese place. The egg rolls are phenomenal — nice flavor with black pepper. Kung Pao chicken is my go-to, but I’ve never had anything sub par here. Service is quick and they’re always friendly. Love love love.

This restaurant came recommended by a few Taiwanese friends. This is a very casual restaurant. It is the type of place you might go if you were feeling too lazy to cook and only wanted basic 家常菜. Nothing fancy, just casual home cooking. We chose a couple random items today to try: 1. 空心菜 — large serving 2. Peppered beef 3. Some type of spicy chicken. Sorry, but I forgot the name. Total was around $ 25. The entrees tasted fine. The white steamed rice could have been better. I feel the value was pretty good for the amount of food we got. We will probably be back in the future.

Juicy sweet and sour chicken cooked perfectly with pineapple pieces on top, fried rice steaming with soy sauce that one could gorge themselves on for days, and an egg rolls stuffed completely with chicken, tasteful cabbage, and balanced spices, this is the dish I like at this modest Chinese-Thai spot I have visited for several years. It is my favorite oriental place in Columbus for a lunch or a quick solo dinner. You can find it on Godown, just north of Bethel, in the stubby old buildings behind gravel dusty parking lot, among a few other quality mom-and-pops unknown to many. From the looks of it walking in, Tso seems like only a carry-out, they do lots of their business through Café Courier. Take-out here is fast. This shop is very efficient and full of happy, gracious and hard working severs. They do have a full service restaurant. The clean dining room is plain, kind of boring, small, with minimal effects and without the bling found at the bigger room of Panda Inn behind them. Their only entertainment is Wolf Blitzer on the corner TV – the General’s only flaw. But this is a simple Mom-and-Pop, they’re going for a good simple meal not full blown experience. There are many other places for that. But for food taste and quality, Tso competes, top five in the city for the ones I have experienced.
And the meal is good. I could just order egg rolls and be happy. I also loved their orange chicken before it vanished from the menu, their pork offerings, and their squid choices when they have it. Even their fried cracker appetizers are da bomb. The staff is very charming, helpful, and curious. They fill your water efficiently and deserve every penny of a large tip. The prices here are nice compared to the large quantity of the servings. Add a soda and the meal is $ 12 – pretty good for some authentic ‘Americanized Chinese’.

Fastest takeout ever. Good lord. I walked in, ordered, and I SWEAR I left with my food five minutes later. Not sure how they did it. Anyhow. I ordered the mongolian beef and ma po tofu. This place was no frills, but the food is good — the tofu was a little different than what I’m used to, but very good. Silky tofu with good chunks of pork, and a bit of spice. The mongolian beef was a little spicy too. The beef was tender and it was a decent amount for a lunch portion. I’m trying to cut down on carbs these days, otherwise I would have ordered the«beef noodle» special, whatever it may have been. :-) They were very nice at the counter! Now, if this place wasn’t half way across town, I’d definitely be here more often. The hubby and I are still trying to find a go to takeout place around us.

This place is one of the few places with authentic Chinese/Taiwanese food in Columbus(hometown reminding taste). We enjoy their fried cracker(free appetizer) with sweet sauce. My favorite dishes here are: 1) 五更腸旺 Sour and Spicy Pig Intestines 2) 沙茶牛肉空心菜 Shacha Ong Choy with Beef. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for family lunch/dinner in this great restaurant!

I came over today for lunch. It’s a nice restaurant, abeit a little plain. The TV was on in the dining room but the waitress swiched it off when it started to get busy. I browsed through the menu and decided on Schezuan shrimp. That was accompanied by my choice of soup and an egg roll. I chose hot and sour soup and it was pretty good but not as good as Fortune’s which is my favorite. The egg roll was just so-so. But the shrimp was another matter! They were just GREAT! The were large and juicy and the sauce the were served in was to die for. I can see why they have so many fans!

My fiancé and I dined here a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. I had the pad thai(delicious!) and she had the sesame chicken(also delicious!). The portions are large, the service is really fast and the prices are great. Another thing we liked about this restaurant was that the lady who seated us and waited on us was very nice and friendly, as if she was quite happy we were patronizing her restaurant. It’s nice to see that in this day and age where you often feel intrusive in restaurants. We are going back tonight to eat here so I will try to get some pictures and review my dish.
