I’ve been here probably 20 times or so to see shows and never have a bad time. I thoroughly enjoy a night out at the Funnybone! The food and drink menu is a bit on the high side so we usually eat before we go. We purchase a few drinks during the show and that’s about it. The venue has recently undergone some serious renovations and it looks great. The downside is it is still super cramped inside as they try to squeeze as many in as possible. I recommend getting there early and getting your table before others so you can be comfy and settled in. Typically they do not allow folks to be seated once the show starts but the last one I went to a couple weeks ago, they allowed several in after it started and it was really distracting and rude. I hope that’s not a new thing. Overall, I love going to a show here. There is something that soothes the mind and soul when you can laugh for two hours and not think about all the stresses of life!

A couple of friends and I stopped by here because were were thirsty for a drink after some shopping and all the other bars nearby were packed because of the holidays. Not sure if the bar was completely open(it was only around 4:00 p.m. and the comedy club was not open yet), but the bartender kindly agreed to serve us drinks. The establishment has a newly renovated interior and what appears to be a slightly different cocktail list. Drinks were well-made and I was ecstatic to escape the madding crowd. Will definitely revisit the next time I want to escape a noisy bar in Easton.

The Funny Bone was the first cool place I really enjoyed when first moving here in 2003. 12 years later, it’s still at the top of my lineup. You can see the best standup acts from around the country, including comedians from Last Comic Standing and even some of the bigger names like Frank Caliendo during special engagements. The Funny Bone just underwent a huge makeover so there is now more room and a much swankier bar area. In the seating area, you still have to sit somewhat close to strangers at your table but it isn’t bad. For years, the Funny Bone menu was a comedy of errors but I haven’t tried it since the rennovation. I did sample some of their french fries and they tasted fresh. Tickets can be a little pricey but you can get on their list and win freebies every once in awhile. The Sunday night show is usually a great bargain because the headliner performs at a lower admission price. Some acts are a little more on the dirtier side than others — the Funny Bone has a top notch website if you want to research beforehand. Service is okay, it can get a little noisey at checkout time later in the show which can be distracting. Stay away from amateur nights and run of the mill comics mid week, they are often a flop.

This place is great to visit for the food and atmosphere in addition to seeing great comedians. I recommend the chicken wings and fries, they are on par with any other wing establishment around town.

The new auditorium is lovely and feels like you’re on a cruise ship. It’s kind of awkward to be sat with a couple you don’t know — so be prepared if you’re not going as a foursome. The food is perfectly average, as are the drink selections, but, hey, you’re here for the comedy, right? The acts did not disappoint and we felt our $ 15 was well spent. It’s a fun thing to try out if you’ve never been to a comedy club before!

I’ve been coming here for years, and just love the atmosphere of this place. The recent renovations have just made the auditorium area even better. It’ll be great to see how the rest of the place looks once they’re finished with it. The stage lighting is better now than it was before, but during my most recent visit one of the comics pointed out that the lighting doesn’t quite illuminate the entire stage. And he’s right; only the middle of the stage is illuminated, so the comic has to stay in the center area. In visits past there’s always at least one obnoxiously drunk and belligerent person who thinks they’re as important as the act on stage. Thankfully during my most recent visit, Funny Bone staff asked that person to leave midway through the show. Kudos to them, because this hasn’t happened before. Every show I’ve seen here has been funny; they’ve had a good mixture of big name and unknown comics performing. The drinks/food are expensive, but not too bad considering they have you as a captive audience. Ticket prices are also very reasonable for most shows.

I brought 12 people here for a company funtion and it was embarrassing. My controller waited an hour for a casa Delia, the service, food and venue may be the worst I’ve experienced at Easton. Small crowded tables with poor service makes for a rather horrible evening. want a nice evening, go somewhere else

While some people will criticize this venue for being located in a mall, I would say… why not? It’s very convenient for the crowd they’re catering to and it works really well for them. The Funny Bone brings in nationally known comics and local acts and they provide a great space for all types of comedians. I am proud to know this place is close to my home. In the past year or two, they built an entirely new room to host the comics(the lobby/bar area remains the same) and it feels more like a downtown comedy club, which I give them props for. I have seen Tommy Johnagin and Juston McKinney here, among others. Always great supporting acts in addition to the headliner. Even the hosts have been entertaining! I would highly recommend this place for group events(make a reservation) and watch for the groupon and coupons because they are a STEAL at times. The service is great, although the drinks and food are pricey(expected), and they create a nice atmosphere to you enjoy a nice out.

Easton is my personal Hell. During the holiday season I’m 99% sure that Satan particularly resides deep beneath the Apple store — but we’ll leave that review for another time. Even the devil needs to laugh sometimes, and if anywhere can do that it’s this place! It’s such a fun and easy night out. You can dress up, dress down, eat or drink or both or neither… and AFFORDABLE! Combine nice venue, full service waiters, and quality entertainment — and anticipate a $ 25 ticket max for any event(even weekend evenings!). I’ve been many times from my college years up through recently, for an array of comedy genres, from local amateur nights to hypnotists to Emmy nominated performers. I’ve never had a bad time here. Standard food and bar menu as to be expected, but at pleasantly average prices. Wait staff does a great job serving both via low whisper and over boisterous laughter, carefully weaseling through tight quarters in the pitch black not to distract from the show — can’t be an easy task. The MC at Easton(sorry to say I don’t know his name) is a veteran opener and knows how to warm up a crowd — he’s constant value added to this venue for the years I’ve known it to be open. Most shows do include the MC welcome, at least one local or touring opener, plus main act. The lobby bar is a perfect meeting spot for before or after shows to grab a drink — and also remember you’re at Easton where a world of opportunity for other food/drink/activities drowns you. Prepare to be a little cramped up with strangers at your table. Most tables seat 4, so with a group of any less than that you’ll be paired up with others. Conversation is avoidable if you’re «that kind», but I’d advise to enjoy the company. Seems that you typically get great people also looking to have a good time. Great gift idea as well. I will say that the material lands HIGH on the raunchy scale — ie. leave your Bibles at home, and get a babysitter for the kids AND the grandparents. Though Easton is a crowded standard American mall nightmare — the journey through it is definitely worth a night here for great entertainment at a great value.

If you use a credit and/or debit card make sure you check your statement. I took my dad for Father’s day and the service was HORRIBLE but I still tipped the young lady cash because she seemed new, overwhelmed and all over the place. I wrote«cash» on the tip line. When I looked at my bank statement. The waitress or someone at the Funny Bone added an additional tip to my card. I’ve written in to the Funny Bone In Columbus, Ohio. I called and spoke to Kent who said the GM(General Manager) was in a meeting but the night manager would call me. I have yet to hear from any one from The Funny Bone. I finally wrote into the BBB(Better Business Bureau) last week and still have yet to hear from anyone!

Love me some Funny Bone Comedy Club! So…it’s in a mall… but don’t let that lead you to throwing tomatos. Parking is free and plenty in the adjacent parking garage. They actually get some decent comedians — names and upcoming artists. Prices on tickets range based on who the headliner is. You get the opportunity to meet the comedian and buy merchandise after the show. Drinks are strong. Food is whatever. I suggest not eating at the club prior to the show. With the location close to home for me, reasonable prices and the promise of a few laughs I have to say the Funny Bone is one of my fav date night agendas. Get on their mailing list and you will get free tickets a few times a year!

It’s been a few years since I’ve been here for a show but I got tickets(again) for Chris Franjola. Last week my daughter and I saw him at the Dayton FB. This time I brought my husband to see him. We arrived 10 minutes before the show started and were seated promptly. We checked out the menu, made our selections, and waited. We waited some more. After the first comic/host was on stage, our server came to take our orders. I could tell he was a little stressed, but he was nice. At the end of the show, the host told everyone they were short-staffed due to a few people calling off sick. We made sure to tip our server well. Their prices are a little high, but they had a short list on the table of food and drink specials; the food was about half the price of the regular entrees. My husband had the Cubano with fries and I had the grilled chicken tacos. They were each around $ 10. He had a beer from the regular menu and I had a $ 4 Red Stripe. Our food arrived during the headliner and it as really very good. Our seats were off to the side of the stage with a great view. I“m not a frequenter but instead only come for a comic I really want to see. It’s a nice occasional night out with decent food.

I prefer the set-up and location of this venue more than the Funny Bone at the Greene in Beavercreek, OH. The venue is in the indoor section of the outdoor mall, and is located on the first floor. There’s a nice bar when you walk in. The seating was right up to the stage and it seemed like there was a good amount of room. I ordered the burger, which came with bleu cheese crumbles, bacon, and fried onion twirls. It was cooked to order and tasty. My friend got the salmon, which came with mango salsa. It was the waitress’ favorite, and my friend said it was kind of spicy, but well cooked. The pretzel sticks that came out for our appetizer had no salt on them. So sad. But they did come with honey mustard, spicy mustard, and cheese sauce for dipping.

The pay policy here is ridiculous and there is zero customer service. I’ve been calling and the phone lines are never«open». Some friends decided to see Rob Schneider tonight-I replied a week ago that I would like to go. However, when I went to pay for a ticket-even though a seat was open next to my friend, I could not sit next to them since my seat is chosen randomly. Since I’d rather not go to a show, sit alone while friends are scattered throughout the room– I opted out. So, essentially I have to pay for a ticket and I’m not going. I will not go here because of there pay policy and lack of humans to talk to. So, all I can do is give them a bad Unilocal review-the old online«middle-finger»…

This is such a SMALL venue… I can’t say that I love it. There isn’t enough room between the tables so you have wait staff always in your way, and there’s no escaping any obnoxious patrons. I guess it’s just not for me.

I rolled my mouse over the«Star» rating system here on and on 4 stars it said. «Yay! I’m a fan.». Which pretty much sums up my experience at Funny Bone. My partner in crime and I attended the«Josh Blue Show» in which we thoroughly enjoyed his act as well as almost all the other comedians. The only act we didn’t care for wasn’t because he wasn’t funny, we just couldn’t relate to any of his humor? Which seemed to be the consensus of the rest of the audience as well, for noone laughed. just uncomfortable giggles? Pick topics that your audience knows and can relate there Bubba and we’ll laugh. You know the adage. «Know your customers and get them what they want.» That was exactly what we got from the kitchen at Funny Bone. We didn’t expect«haute cuisine» and of course we didn’t get it. but what we did get was a very good meal for a very reasonable price. I’ve visited lots of venues like this over the past 20 years or so and was remarkably surprised how well Funny Bone did in comparison. Most comedy clubs feature cafeteria quality items that I’d rather avoid. Not so here. We started off with«Fried Pickles», which isn’t my favorite by far, but my girlfriend wanted them and they were down right tasty. For our mains, we both ordered the«Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger» which featured an 8 oz. choice patty topped with bleu cheese and served with lettuce, tomato, onion crisps, and applewood smoked bacon. Simple? Yes, but done right and quite delicious. This sandwich is a good as any premium burger you will find in Central Ohio. Like I mentioned before, don’t go there expecting gourmet food, for that is not what they do. However, you can expect and will get a very good tasting meal at a value price along with a belly full of laughs! Look for more cooking views, reviews and recipes on

I met up with some friends to catch a friend’s co-workers performance for an event. Some of the comedians? Hilarious. The host? Okay. The guy at the end who announced the judges decision and told off a heckler? Priceless. $ 5 to get in. Decent priced drink in hand, and then lost in the comedy. I’m *really* surprised how well the staff moves seamlessly around the place — in the darkness, never forgetting an order, delivering effortlessly — like silhouetted ghosts, effortlessly gliding about the floors.

Acts are great and FB does a great job for what they do. Lines que up early. We were there for a 1015 show. If you eat(bar type food), you get preferential seating. We didn’t and our seats were acceptable. There are a few bad seats(near poles), so watch for that. Service is attentive in a hard to serve atmosphere. We are fans.

I wish there were more comedy clubs in Columbus. Funny Bone provides a killer, entertaining night out! The location at Easton(inside the mall) is a little strange, and not my favorite, but I guess I can see the convenience and bizarre logic. Sort of. Before the show the bar opens up to snag a drink while you wait, then inside you can order more food & drinks from your waitstaff. Let me be clear when I say Funny Bone isn’t known for their food, or reasonable drink prices. You’ll find overpriced(albiet a decent selection) of beer and mediocre food, but at least you have options right? From what I understand(and how I ended up here on my most recent trip) Funny Bone gives a lot of promo tickets away to pack the house. The suggested«trade» is that you must order at least 2 drinks per person — although it’s not often enforced. Shows normally last between an hour and a half to two or so hours with multiple acts. They’re usually pretty hilarious, too, so kudos FB on securing great acts! While it’s not my preferred place to go for local entertainment, FB is a decent option in C-Bus.
