Extended Stay America – Columbus – Worthington

We had a crazy stay here.
The only reason I chose this hotel was because of the kitchenette. However we had to wait over an hour to get kitchen supplies.
They were horribly understaffed & unfortunately the one woman that was working failed to keep our receipt – this led to the other hotel staff attempting to break our door down at 6am.

It has nice clean beds but I was not happy when they didn’t have a gym or pool anywhere! Would like to visit again

One’s rating of this property is likely to be related to his/​her length of stay here. When I first checked in, I was actually quite pleasantly impressed. The lobby area was clean, the gentleman at reception was efficient and friendly, and the room was clean, in good repair, with a flat-​screen TV, new matress, and functional kitchen. For a couple of days I was very comfortable.
As the week went on, however, some things started to annoy me. First, the toilet was intermittently leaky. Then I started to hear my neighbors through the thin walls. Finally I started to notice odd (though not alarming) smells throughout the hotel. By the end of the week I grew tired of all of these nuisances, and was quite ready to check out (to be fair, living in any hotel for a week is a bit of a drain).
All told, I want to say that place would be great (especially given the price) for a couple of nights, but just okay for a lengthy stay. Slightly ironic given the name of the property, I suppose, but it is what it is.
