Dr. Ostrem really is the best. Careful, thorough, thoughtful, and his wife is equally so!
He has a very friendly, soft-​spoken demeanor, so I was a little surprised to read on his website what a badass he is. As it turns out he went to West Point and was actually a Colonel in the Ohio Air National Guard (!)
Like the other reviewer said, he won’t waste your time and his wife Debbie won’t waste your money, while providing top-​notch care.
The office is also kid-​friendly. There are books and a kid table in the waiting room for school aged children, and my husband and I have taken both my kids there when they were infants and both Dr. Ostrem and Debbie were really friendly and patient with us.
100% recommend this office.

Best eye doctor ever.
I heart Dr. Eric and his wife Debbie, who acts as receptionist, scheduler, contact orderer, money collector, insurance liaison, and provider of honest opinions on glasses selection.
It is just the two of them in a little office that is easy to get to in UA. Dr. Eric is a great eye doctor, quick and thorough– I like that he doesn’t give you an increased prescription just because you might need it, he’d rather err on the side of not making your eyes worse. The office is easy to make appointments at, very easy to reorder contacts, and Debbie seems to be able to get a lot of bang for your buck on eye insurance. It is just overall a pleasant experience.
