Details a Specialty Salon

I wish I would have read the many negative reviews of this place that Unilocal has hidden before I bought my Living Social deal. I called and called– no one ever answered the phone and it just kept playing music and then telling me to press one to book an appointment; I never had a chance to leave a voicemail. Then I sent them an email through their online contact form, and THEN I got in touch through their unnecessarily complicated online appointment-​booking system. No one ever got back to me from either of those messages.
Two days ago I got an email from Living Social informing me that the salon had claimed I’d redeemed the deal! So now I’m trying to get my money back from Living Social– I couldn’t even get these people to communicate with me, let alone provide services, so there’s no way I’m paying for this. They’re either scammers or completely incompetent, and either way, I will absolutely advise anyone against dealing with them. I’m about THISCLOSE to filing a complaint with the BBB.

Absolutely horrible,… HORRIBLE experience with this place. I bought my mother a mani and pedi here and she has been trying for so long to make an appointment that her voucher expired! She has tried scheduling online and calling them for MONTHS to make an appointment with no call back. She finally got someone on the phone, they put her on hold then hung up on her. She called back and it went to VM so she left a message. The next day, after still not hearing back from them, she called them again and it went to VM and their mailbox was full. Is this any way to do business? Happy Birthday, Mom! Sheesh

I have been going to Details for a few years now and I always leave a very happy customer! Lorna has been a great stylist for me. I am a stay at home mom of 2 crazy kids and so finding someone who is flexible with her schedule has been awesome and I really appreciate that. And even though I am at stay at home mom I’m still a woman and still want my hair looking awesome. Thanks Lorna and the rest of the Details staff for making me look great on my kid free day nights!

I went to Details after a friend recommended it to me. I booked my first appointment with Lorna. She was GREAT! I usually rely on my stylist for input on my color and cut. I told Lorna what I envisioned and she made it look better! She was full of great ideas. She is also a perfectionist! My shades of blonde were perfect and not brassy at all. She did a great job! She also was able to suggest a root lifting product and a hairspray. Overall, it was an awesome visit and I’d recommend her 1000 times more! :)
