Had to try this little place now that I live so close. Things I liked: the shop is adorable, the staff is incredilbly friendly, the veggies that were about to be in my meal were staring at me sitting so ripe and beautiful for all to see, the honey-mint gree tea(satisfied tea snob), the cinnamon rolls. I didn’t even get a cinnamon roll but every other person who walked in asked for one. Things I hope are better for next time: my breakfast burrito was pretty bland. It had some green tomatoes but could’ve really used a healthier dose of salsa and cheese. I will definitely be returning because I want(re:need) one of those cinnamon rolls and I am very eager to try some more of the menu.

Lately I’ve been lazy about making breakfast so I came to Cravings Carryout Café on a whim craving some sort of breakfast sandwich. The café is a little unassuming and it’s quiet possible to pass by without knowing if it weren’t for the pop-up sign on the sidewalk. The inside is a bit small with limited seating but I imagine it’s nice to sit in one of the outdoor tables when the weather’s nice. I got the breakfast roll and, oh my gosh, if you haven’t had one them before then you are missing out on life. There’s a generous(!) amount of bacon, fried egg, cheese, and aioli sauce on a brioche roll. You won’t be missing the traditional bread that usually goes with this kind of sandwich for the brioche roll is so light and fluffy which perfectly complements the hearty filling. I also got a blueberry Greek yogurt cookie which sounds a little off-putting but it was actually really good and there’s something about it that’s slightly savory which I really loved. I heard that they sell bronuts(a combination of a brioche roll and a doughnut) every Saturday now which I haven’t had before and I will definitely come back for in the future!

I’m writing this review fully knowing that I will come back and hopefully more items will be available. Me and my girlfriend went right around Noon and the baked goods were all gone. The cold brew had the most ice I’ve seen in a coffee drink that I couldn’t be sure that it was even 8 oz. The best part of my meal was the Bulgogi cheesesteak and even then it was tasty but everything else let me down somewhat especially since I was really looking forward to coming here. Also the space is so small that CARRYOUT should be stated repeatedly, during the winter you probably can fit 6 people inside.

I went for brunch here last weekend and thought that the food was delicious and the waiters were very attentive. So on a Friday morning, I went for a run and decided to stop by this place for breakfast. I opened the back door and realized that it lead to the kitchen, so I went around to the front. In the windows, I saw an employee walking towards the front door, and before I got there, heard a «click.» I realized that the person locked the door!!! So I checked my phone and realized that I was 10 min early, but the person could have told me that instead of rudely locking me out! So, the food is great, but they need to work on not offending their customers.

This is among the best brunch spots in the city and deserves more recognition. I could write all the things I love, but you should go and see for yourself.

Get the BRONUT everyone! They only have that every Saturday I think, but it’s soooooo good! The staffs there were so friendly too. They don’t hv a lot of seat inside, but definitely a great place to drop by and pick up some great brunch or baked goods!

This place is awesome! The best BBQ chicken sandwich I have ever had. The menu is simple, the outside atmosphere is simple. The staff is fantastic. A real neighborhood easy place to get in and out.

Had breakfast here several times. The breakfast roll is delicious! Completely love the seasonal slaw! The owners are awesome. Seating is limited. Prices are very fair for the quality and portion size. Absolutely love this little place. The cookies and other goodies are fabulous as well!

Try the Cravings chicken sandwich with Greek hash, blueberry bronut, and pistachio bronut. The chicken was tender and the brioche bun was perfect! The bronuts are not overly sweet, so it’s okay to eat 2 or 10. Go early because they do run out by the end of the day. Everyone was super friendly and service was excellent. Be careful when you step backward from the checkout spot. There is a step there! I almost fell and my friends and I witnessed two more people *almost* falling.

Just about right across from Fox In The Snow is this charming little space. But don’t be fooled by its name being Carryout Café. They have a few seats available inside. Matt, the owner seems a nice guy we chat as he makes us our food. He also bakes his bread onsite by the way. I am trying his Cuban sandwich while Lida has the BLT. Both sandwich are amazingly good. For the size, don’t expect crazy coffee although they use ThunderKiss for their roaster. They have cold brew and French press prepared coffee. I love the food and the ambience. And the owner service.

I had the cravings club and a blueberry and goat cheese cookie. My sandwich was unreal — loved every bit of it. This honestly was the best sandwich I’ve had in Columbus. The cookie was also dope. Everyone must go here!

I keep writing and deleting. Nothing seems good enough for this place. Here’s what you need to know: The people are lovely. The food is delicious and wholesome. The cookies are the best thing you’re ever going to eat in your life. I’m so glad I finally got here. Now I can die happy.

I’ve been pretty curious to try this spot ever since following them on Instagram and drooling on my phone every morning. Well, folks, Sunday was the day! Bf & I drove over to Cravings and easily found a parking spot right out front. Another bonus, there were actually a few open seats inside! It’s impossibly cute(read: tiny) so this was quite the joyous occasion. Also tiny is the menu, which was totally fine because every single thing sounded delicious. I opted for the Egg, Bacon, Cheddar breakfast sandwich($ 9) and he went for the Lox, Cream Cheese, Roasted Tomato, Caper, Arugula($ 10). First, the Brioche rolls these sandwiches come on is DELICIOUS. Truly could have eaten a dozen rolls and nothing else. Our sandwiches & coffees were super tasty, but(as expected) we were ever so slightly not thrilled with the price. for $ 9/$ 10 for a side-less sandwich, I know it’s got to be high quality, and again — they were delicious. Total for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees = $ 23 pre-tip. And with his appetite, he was hungry again before lunch. We both enjoyed trying out this adorable breakfast spot but quickly agreed this would be a ‘treat’ kind of place and probably not a regular thing.

Saw an email go out through a local press about their sandwich and decided to give it a try. The space is small and not meant for sticking around, although you could definitely bring a partner and hang out at an odd hour. I got their heralded club sandwich and was blown away by the quality. I watched the chef make the sandwich right in front of me and it was fantastic! Both people working were wonderful in conversation and friendliness. That’s what makes a sandwich shop something special. They had a few cookies that I would have loved to go after… there’s alwas next time.

I made it a point to get to Cravings today after reading reviews about it for the past few weeks, and I am so glad I did. The menu isn’t very large, and it’s because everything they have tastes amazing. I didn’t eat the whole menu, but after having what I had, I can’t help but believe the rest of the items are fantastic. I had the club sandwich with their brioche roll. I could eat those rolls any day of the week, so so good. The chicken they use is local, and the aioli was very tasy and not overwhelming. The girlfriend tried the breakfast roll, and it was equally delicious, with a generous amount of bacon. It isn’t the cheapest place in town, but you’re definitely getting a high quality meal. As we were waiting for our sandwiches, the guys there were bringing out freshly baked cookies to the display, and I couldn’t resist, so I had to get one of each. Wow. First, the seasonal pumpkin spice cookies were incredible, the pretzel chocolate chip was great, but the real winner was the blueberry cookies. I worked on and managed a blueberry farm for about 7 years, and I thought I’d had everything blueberry, but I was wrong. The cookie was so light, and the blueberries packed an awesome punch to my taste buds. Overall consensus is that we’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait to try the other sandwiches and cookies. If you’re wondering about breakfast or lunch, you have to check this place out.

Came for the Bronut Takeover(Brioche Roll + Donut). I think they weren’t anticipating the demand, so counter service was a little slow and resulted in a line out the door and down the sidewalk by 9:15 am and a 25 minute wait. Definitely need to staff up for busy days. That complaint aside, the service was friendly by both of the staff guys on hand. And… the Bronuts were spectacular. Very buttery and sweet, and, I’m sure, completely unhealthy for you. There were three varieties – Plain glazed, Maple Pecan and Blueberry. Blueberry was my favorite, my wife and 3 year old preferred plain and my 5 year old super picky eater just stared at us in disbelief(we’re working on him – he’ll be a foody one day.) Other breakfast items coming out of the kitchen looked pretty tasty as well. I also picked up some recently roasted Thunderkiss coffee and a 64 oz. growler(!) of cold brewed Thunderkiss that has made me a hero to my wife for at least a few days. We’ll definitely come back and try some of the other items on the menu soon.

I need to update my review since Cravings no longer makes decorated cut out cookies. Sad? Maybe. But, really, the change has been the best thing ever! I go to Cravings as often as I can to get lunch(but, they are open for dinner too! I have definitely had the best sandwich of my life here AND my friend and I decided that Craving’s sandwiches are, in fact, the best in the city. Yes, you read that right. Whatever magazine ‘Best Of’ list you’re reading is wrong if «Best Sandwich» doesn’t have Craving’s listed as winner. Fresh baked bread, quality ingredients, skilled preparation, a little genius, and a little love is what Craving’s now offers. And, yes, they still have amazing cookies. They just aren’t cut outs. Personal recommendations are: Craving’s Club, Porchetta Sandwich, White Choc Pistachio Sea Salt Cookie, Black Berry Goat Cheese Cookie, and anything Matt says is «really good». Just trust him. Skip all those lame-o, played out restaurants on High in the Short North and go to Third and Fourth in Italian Village for the Best Sandwich in the City!

I can’t believe it took me so long to come here — Cravings instantly became a new favorite that I’m bound to frequent for as long as I live in this ‘hood. As if their regular menu isn’t already perfect, the ever-changing specials are out of this world. When I saw a sandwich featuring roasted pork, avocado, heirloom tomatoes, jack cheese, fried egg, and aioli on herbed ciabatta bread, I knew I made the right choice for my food destination of the day. It was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had — easily in my top five. Then, I had to top it off with a dessert to see what everyone was raving about. The decision was tough, but I went with the milk chocolate pretzel cookie. And sorry mom, but your cookies will never taste the same again. This cookie here was unbelievable — full of flavor and baked to perfection. Even the iced coffee was exceptionally delicious. From the personalized service to the very last bite, it’s obvious everything is made with love. Follow the brick road and you’ll find this quaint little café hidden behind 4th st. It’s a great spot for brunch on the go or a casual lunch in for two!

Cookie Cravings has become a bit of a misnomer. Though they have a variety of delicious cookies they are becoming just as well known(if not more so) for their delicious crêpes and sandwiches. Matt and Lindsey provide a constantly changing menu of breakfast and lunch offerings as well as growlers of Thunderkiss coffee to go, and French pressed hot coffee as well(also Thunderkiss). Did I mention the incredible cinnamon rolls? Oh, and the non-decorated cookies like blueberry goat cheese? Their crêpes are always well made(pork cheek, huevos rancheros, veggie, sweet ones as well) as are their breakfast sandwiches(freshly baked brioche buns are amazing). This is the neighborhood bakery, breakfast, coffee joint you always dreamed of having right across the street from you. And I’m lucky enough to say they are!
