Caribou Coffee Number Six Hundred Seven

Coffee isn’t the best, but better then Starbucks. Fee Wi Fi. People watching and conversations spying in this location is hard not to do while studying… does that make me equally weird? They close on August 11 to become someone else.
Staff is so nice here.

Love Caribou hot chocolate. Staff and service here have always been good. Seating area is decent but cramped.

Okay, okay, I know this is a chain coffee shop, but I just love it. Being from California, I really love Peet’s coffee and tea, but I do have to say that Caribou may tie for my favorite coffee. This location in particular is great, with really friendly and helpful baristas, and a great environment for the many hours I spend studying for exams!
My favorite drinks: Campfire mocha (they even put little mini marshmallows on the hot ones), and they have the most incredible white chocolate mocha with peppermint (I only do half the peppermint b/​c its quite strong).
I don’t think I’ve ever had them make a mistake on my drink, and they don’t judge me for ordering things with a half of a pump, or in a different sized cup, or other weird requests.
While this is a chain, it really avoids the stark feel of a Starbucks, and I will keep coming back as long as I am living in Columbus!

Really good coffee, what else can I say? This place is amazing no matter which location you check out. Even if I had the worst service possible it couldnt ruin the coffee for me. The grilled cheese is a must even for those of us who dont really like it. I never order it but I always get it here!

HoHo Mint Mocha is great when the have it near the holidays. I wish they had it year round! (Mint Condition is close but not the same). I also love the Coolers and usually get the Northern Lite Caramel Cooler when I want a cold coffee. Drive thru is always prompt with my order.

This truely is hot chocolate for grown ups!
There is something so naughty about a large turtle mocha, fresh milk chocolate, whipped cream, caramel and extra snickers pieces, oh yeah baby coffee really is the last thing on my mind when I had just that!
My husband had the large campfir mocha, milk chocolate, whipped cream and loads of mini marshmelllows… mmmhhhh.
Good stuff!
I really wanted to try their desserts as well but they are a bit pricey and don’t look any better or more interesting than those at Starbucks, so we enjoyed our huge «coffees» and were pretty full all day!
WAY better and more fun than Starbucks, great staff, cozy shop, good times!

I love this place! The campfire mocha and mint condition are my favorites! If it’s close to Christmas get the ho ho mint mocha, it’s awesome!

I will always see Caribou as being the better coffee shop today. They have good drinks, good service, and a relaxing environment. Good Wi-​Fi too.

This location is perfect for me because I AM a crazy Chase driver. I stop by here to get my caffeine fix before work if I have time or not. They take my work discount and are quick and courteous.

I love this place! Awesome and friendly staff who don’t mind if you hang out for a while on your laptop. Fantastic drinks, too, especially their teas!

While I love Caribou, the only downfall of this location is its location. I would love to be able to swing through. grab a mocha or a light white raspberry, but then you have to deal with going south and competing with the crazy Chase drivers who might let you out to go north towards Polaris. The service is great, and I love the drinks… But, this location is best if you are wanting a minute to sit down and chill with a friend. Unfortunately, it is a bit smaller than locations like the one in Clintonville, it is a great alternative to the everyday Starbucks goers… The espresso is not frozen and is fresher… Check it out!

Sometimes I want to sit in a nice air-​conditioned coffeeshop and study. And when I do, this is a good place to do it. We don’t have Caribou out in California, but one of my friends who recently relocated to Chicago raves about it, so I dropped by here after a six-​hour studying stint at Easton which left me feeling slightly chapped and sunburnt.
I love the tables with the designs on them — mine had a collection of animal footprints. I had a blended chai latte, which I was slightly disappointed in – I think I was expecting a chai-​flavoured milkshake, but it was only $ 3.50 for a medium, so not a huge loss.
There is free wireless and outlets a plenty. The four leather chairs are very comfortable, and though not as conducive to studying for that very reason. There are only six two-​seater tables, and one six-​seater table, but it seems to be a pretty quiet place on Saturdays.
I’ll certainly be returning as the winter sets in and my favourite outdoor study spot at Easton becomes impractical.
Plus, the boy works next door at the Chick-​fil-​a so I can run over and sit with him during his dinner break.
