Literally the WORST Burger King on Earth. It astounds me how often this location fails on every level. If this wasn’t a chain, it would’ve been out of business in it’s first month. I’ve lived within a half mile of this location for the last 5 years and EVERY time I go there I always say it’s going to be my last. Yet, after another 6 months goes by, I give it another chance and assume(and hope) that it’s changed. However, the one thing they’ve seemed to master is failure at a laughable level. The only thing that seems to be consistent here is being the worst possible food establishment I’ve ever been to. I would say firing the whole staff and starting fresh would be a good start but who’s going to text on their phone when I’m waiting for my food?

This Burger King has terrible service. Every single time I have attempted to go here on lunch when I’m in Grandview, it has taken me at least 10 minutes to get through the line. It’s taken so long before that I’ve had to pull out of line to order because I was on time constraints to be back to work. Every time, after I actually make it up to place my order, I’ve been told to ‘hold on’ — I’m not sure if they’re under staffed or can’t multitask, but I end up waiting for another few minutes before I can even place my order. Today, I placed my order and my total was $ 8 and some change on the screen for my burger and fries. After I pulled away and was down the road, I realized they had added a chicken nugget to my order AFTER I had pulled past the order screen. Granted they gave me the chicken nuggets, but I didn’t want to spend the extra $ 1.50 for something I didn’t order and wasn’t going to eat.

Who doesn’t like Burger King? Apparently a few people have had some bad experiences, but fear not — Rolland is here to dispel the rumors. After a long day of work, my stomach growling, I wanted something quick. I figured I’d swing by the local Burger King to satisfy my hunger. Perfect choice. I pulled in to the drive thru and eased up to the menu selection. I was promptly greeted and offered to try a new menu item. I politely declined, but it did sound tempting. I decided to spread the board. Not a meal, you say? Nope. I went for select items that I knew would satisfy my hunger. I ended up ordering a spicy chicken sandwich, rodeo burger, double bacon cheeseburger, onion rings(of course), and after confirmation of the promotional price — snagged a 10-piece chicken nugget for $ 1.49. I passed on the drink, as I had sweet tea at the house. I received my total, and was told to proceed to the next window. With a smile on my face, I thanked the person taking my order and scooted forward. I saddled up at the window with cash in hand. I was politely greeted by a nice lady with a smile. We exchanged pleasantries, made comments about the beautiful weather, and I paid for my meal. She informed me that my food would be ready shortly, and gently closed the window. As I was the only person in line, I didn’t have much wait. Around 3 minutes later, a gentlemen comes to the window. He tells me that they had to put down a fresh batch of onion rings(YES!) and that it might be an extra minute. I told him it wasn’t a problem, and kept jammin’ to some tunes. Roughly a minute later, the same gentleman came back to the window. He asked me if I would like any sauces with my chicken nuggets. I told him I’d love some ranch and buffalo sauces — what a combo. Now, as he’s gathering my order and placing it in the bag, he leaves the window open. The employees were all having fun and and joking around — seemed like a great night. My order is bagged and the gentleman, who I overheard called by the name of «Cee», politely hands me my awaiting dinner. He tells me to have a great night, and we parted ways. I drove home with the windows down, shades on, blasting music with nothing but the thought of Burger King on my mind. I arrive home and and immediately plop onto the couch, sweet tea and Burger King by my side. I open the bag, and to my delight and amazement, Cee managed to give me 2 each of BOTH sauces! Cee, you the real MVP! My order was spot on. Everything was fresh, and delicious. I ate everything in sight, and enjoyed every minute of it. I was completely, and utterly satisfied with my Burger King decision. I will most definitely be returning. For those of you that have had bad experiences, I strongly recommend that you give it another shot. Not only has this establishment really turned it around, I would consider it a hidden gem in Grandview. When you do decide to stop by, make sure you tell Cee that Rolland says thanks! –RS

Burger King, as a chain, has the best coupons and deals going. They also have one the largest menus of the fast food burger places with veggie burgers, fish, icees, chicken straws, onion rings, etc… Sadly, this location is not one that can be recommended. Stopped in today, early afternoon, for lunch prior to going to a volunteer gig that would last well past dinnertime. There were two cars waiting at the drive through, so I went inside. The young man who took my order seemed uncertain as to whether or not he should be there. He did take my order without making eye contact, told me my order would be done in a minute and handed me change after I reminded him I had not gotten my change. Receiving my meal took about ten minutes, which is pretty poor for having been the only one in line, but bad went to worse. The man who entered the restaurant to order five minutes into my lunchtime wait was served by a young woman who was on her cell ‘phone and did not stop her conversation while she took the order. I am not kidding. She held an iPhone to her head while she rang up an order. Cleanliness of the dining room and restroom could be generously described as filthy. The table I started to sit as was smeared with ketchup(hard to tell with those dirt obscuring patterns). I wanted to wash my hands twice after touching the bathroom sink handles. I got to the sink after paying the ferryman to row me across the river of water(I hope) on the floor that was pouring from the broken sink trap into a plastic bucket and then onto the tiles. Gross. Several of the soda flavors were listed as empty on the Coke dispenser, too. All in all, this wasn’t fast food, and it was so disappointing that I will never return to this location. Come on franchisees that care… buy this place and fix it!

I try every couple of months thinking that this store would turn arround. I like burger king but this store sucks big time. Dirty, supper long wait times and smells bad inside. Not putting out a good image for the franchise.

Don’t bother coming to this location in the evenings. For whatever reason — whenever I come, there is one specific person that slows down — we’ve been to this location over the past year more than 15 times and if we come past 10:00 you can guarantee that you’ll wait longer than 7 minutes. Many times we’ve waited for 10 — once 17! There is no reason for this at a fast food restaurant, especially when you’re the only one in line. And in high school, I worked at a fast food restaurant — nothing there takes that long to cook! Don’t recommend when you can go to 7 other places in a 3 block radius and get home faster with better quality food.

Slowest, worst, mostb disorganized BK I’ve ever been to — be prepared for menu items to be missing, rude service, and waiting 20 minutes for your«fast» food. I’m a huge BK fan, and I don’t even bother with this location, its THAT bad. I’ve been through this location 5 – 10 times, and it’s always the exact same thing! Edit: Went this past weekend because everything else was too busy, and had my first positive experience with a friendly person working the drive-thru — maybe it’s turned a new leaf? Upgraded to 2-stars.

This place fucks up my veggie burger every time I come here. The staff is unfriendly and of the«I hate my life» variety. When you are in a real hurry though, you don’t have a lot of options in the area and Burger King is the only fast food burger joint that has a veggie burger at every location so they get my service by default on occasion. It CAN be quick, but not always. The last time they fucked up my order they didn’t give me a receipt and refused to remedy the problem as a result. Fuckers.
