Water down drinks. Slow service. The bartender didn’t even know what Merlot was. Don’t waste your time or money!

Embarrassed by establishment I was out with colleagues on a business trip in Columbus. I was denied access because of my tattoos on my neck. I usually wouldn’t be upset be because my co workers were with me this was huge embarrassment. I’ve been all around the world serving my country and haven’t encountered anything like this

It smells like a dirty dish towel and socks, almost threw up when I saw the the food, and drinks are watered down!

This place is huge! Came in on a Friday night, and it was packed. Found it a little irritating when I went back for a second drink(I’d already ordered one of the same from Brother’s) and the bartender said they couldn’t make that here. A little pricy in my opinion, but I enjoyed my night!

They institute the«we don’t like black people rule». No white tee, no jersey, and no flat brimmed hats. They wouldn’t let me in for the hat. Even a slight brimmed hat will do you no good. Cool place.

I would also rate this bar negatively if I could. We never even made it in the door. First they wouldn’t let a friend come in because he was wearing a flat brimmed hat. Wouldn’t even let him in if he kept it in his pocket. Then as we were about to leave he called out my boyfriend and said he wasn’t getting in either because he has tattoos on his neck. They say it’s against dress code but I can find no dress code of theirs on any website. Both employees at the door were extremely rude and I want to know how they feel judging people deeming them good enough to step foot in the bar. This bar is prejudice, judgmental, and they discriminate against potential customers. From reading other reviews it sounds like our money was better spent else where. This bar is a joke and their employees are jerks. Never stopping here again.

It’s a pity I can’t rate this with negative stars because I surely would if available. Bouncer at the door was a totally rude d bag. Was there for park street festival and had been there few hours before as we stopped in before clippers game. Got nasty about wearing a button up jersey. When I took it off and started to let one of the girls put it in her purse he said it wasn’t coming in. I asked him it’s ok to be in a t-shirt and that was fine. Ok where do you think I’m going to put it then? His smart ass response was to throw it in the trash or bushes across the street but I was not getting past him with it. Upon reflection I have to wonder if it was because I was clearly with my BF. And if that is really the case I also have to wonder if he is aware that Columbus has very strict anti discrimination laws on the books for just that reason. News flash a$$hole… I’ve had bar tabs at this place for several hundred dollars before in a short visit. But you can rest assured that not a single member of the 6 people I was with tonight will EVER spend another red cent in your piss poor establishment. As someone who has had nationally certified training in customer service(and happens to be a professional nurse) I would suggest this to the establishment owners: train your overly aggressive dollar store bouncers to behave in a more respectful and professional manner or simply put your establishment will not exist for long. With no customers or revenue it is very difficult to maintain a successful business. On a personal note he did have a bit of a cracked face when I politely informed him that being a bar bouncer is most likely the highlight of his life while I am blessed with the education and skill to do something productive for society in general. Hope that career path you chose works out well for you in your old age there buddy(cause those roids aren’t going to be able to help you much longer and the effects on your body will be devastating you can be sure ;) AVOIDTHISDIMESTOREDIVE as there are far better service providers in any direction on the exact same street. I’d gladly recommend Park St Cantina as a far better place to frequent in the area. They have far more courteous and professional staff, more bar space/staff and swings! Trust me when I say you will be far more welcomed there and a far better class of patrons and staff as well.

Came here prior to going to Rush concert yesterday. Short staffed and unprepared for the people. The one guy said the manager didn’t know there was a concert. Which shows you how well they plan. So we couldn’t order any food because kitchen and staff were overwhelmed. Proceeded to order two beers which ultimately never came. It was a stark reminder why I never come here anymore.

I would never step foot in this bar. Last night they refused to let any minorities in. If you are white you got in. After the national championship white people riot and set fires but they can get in to the bar but if your skin is tanned forget it. And they gave all sorts if bs answers why they wouldn’t let you in. Never give your money to businesses like this

Me and my usual group of dining/drinking buddies wandered in here one night for a quick bite to eat before the big Ohio State game started because bar Louie was too packed. We found out very quickly that this establishment was empty for a reason. The food, which was clearly labeled as being discounted, turned out to be an overpriced disappointment served by a douchey incompetent waitstaff who had the nerve to strike up an argument with my friend when he pointed out that he was given an item he didn’t order. The food was okay; nothing I’ll remember past my next meal out. The worst part of the meal by far was the sticker shock that we experienced when we got our checks. 25 dollars for two beers and an appetizer. The bills were so high that each one of us demanded to know what caused them to reach their astronomical prices. My friend was not only charged for both quesadillas, but when we asked, they offered«itemized receipts» with a tone of voice that proved we were not the first or 10th group to wonder what part of the experience warranted them to charge 7 dollars a beer. Avoid this place like the plague.

Yup, Never again. Came on a Friday Night, the day before the big game vs. the team up north. I must say I will never step a foot here again. Staff were not the greatest, food wasn’t the tastiest, just not a place I will go again. I’m taking my money and thirst else where.

My groups of friends frequents Brothers weekly. The atmosphere is fun and yes sometimes a bit crowded. I have always had good service. That being said, some bartenders are better than others — but we have weened out which ones are the good ones and which are not. The music is always awesome. They play more current pop/hip hop inside and outside they usually play country. The fire is an awesome touch. The booths around the perimeter are great for when you actually want to chat with those you are out with. Although the bar gets crowded, average wait time is average for Park Street. The drinks are pretty cheap and I have always had happy and polite service. I know others have complained about it but I have never experience anyone rude. I have dined before concerts here and although service can sometimes be slow from the kitchen, the food was great! I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a bar that reminds you of college. If you are looking for something quieter/not a college feel, I would recommend going a street over to the Short North.

Two and a half… As someone who does not drink, I have a different perspective on bars. I don’t pay attention to the price of drinks and I don’t particularly like décor meant to entice the drunk. While not where you’ll usually find me, I wasn’t inching back towards the door on my first(possibly only) visit here. Anyways, we met a party here on a Tuesday before a Blue Jackets game. The place was busy with a crowd that mainly consisted of fellow fans all ranging in age and amount of regalia. Sure they could have used more servers to cover these groups, but our particular server was kind when he could make it around. We were starving so opinion of the food would have been skewed, but I hear the wings are pretty good. Oh and if you mention it’s your birthday, you get a free beer and the glass it comes in.

I dont get the bad reviews for this place. But i came here at 10 on a Thursday night with a bunch of teachers. The place was dead since Park Street had their teacher night. The beer and liquor was fairly cheap so I was happy. They serve Four Strings Brewery for $ 3 which made easy to drink. Service was decent as again there wasnt much competition. I left around 11:30 and I noticed that we were the old people at that time. The crowd was getting younger the later it went. My only complaint was the bar started turning up the crappy music when over half of the bar were looking to talk and get ready for summer. We weren’t into the music and actually a few of us were watching the hockey game.

Are you 18 – 24? Would you like to smell like cheap beer? Are you single looking for a hook up? Do you plan on being extremely hammered tonight? Would you like to get in a fight because someone grazed your shoulder? If you answered yes to these questions then Brothers might be for you! But seriously, this place is what started the Park St. crowd. Could you have a good night here? Sure… but once you move on from your college days I don’t see any reason to go here. They really have little to offer except for the people who you will run into here — good or bad. Let me say regardless of what kind of night you are looking for… you can do better.

Went here for a post work happy hour with many people, obviously willing to create bar tabs. We had heard and discounted the rumors about this place being terrible, but we should have listened. Despite being the only table for nearly an hour, the two staffers could not get us a full round of drinks for nearly 30 minutes. The food specials were delayed by «the kitchen is not open yet» commentary. When a truckload of expense account people show up and you can’t serve them cold Bud Lights and the happy hour food, it is time to look for another business. We would have left sooner, but it took so long to cash out that ordering more ending up being slightly less painful than waiting for checks. If you must go, pay cash for each round so you can escape, and have a better plan for you next stop. If your fake ID and collared shirt works here, though, stay. I remember those days and understand.

Holy. Crap. Had it not been for the bachelorette of our group wanting to check this place out, I would have never ventured in. If the line out front and the people chillin’ on the patio weren’t making it obvious enough this wouldn’t be my kind of bar, the way the place looks on the inside sure does. It’s a massive, sprawling warehouse of a bar. Walk in to find tons of tables scattered around. Move on through and there’s the bar smack in the middle. Past that you’ll find pool tables. All the way back in the far right corner you’ll see a sunk-in dance floor packed with a sweaty, grinding mass of people dressed in the smallest amount of clothes acceptable by this places dress code standards. All around, no mater the time of day or night, you’ll find TVs blasting all the sports that were ever sportsed. Yes, even on the packed smelly dance floor. It’s a bit ridiculous. The drinks were pretty expensive and my fellow guests a hot mess. I do not intend to go back.
