Rob F.‘s review is terribly inaccurate and smells fishy. First off, the owner is Rich and he is there all the time(he talks with everyone and makes sure your getting better, maybe Rob isn’t there enough to know this) He adds enough weights and equipment as needed. He constantly brings in new toys to play with(recently its a keg for strongmen competitions). It has gotten busy but its the beginning of the year when newbies arrive for their new years resolutions. As far as cleanliness, He has a crew come in every morning to mop and wipe down equipment. This is a weight lifting centrist gym so chalk does tend to cover the floors by the evenings. If you want to lift you can work in with anyone who is lifting. I joined BLT because if its inclusive culture and atmosphere. This is a community of folks who work hard to make you healthier, stronger, faster or whatever your goals are. Rich and Adam’s first words to me when i was looking for a downtown gym were«We don’t succeed as a company if you don’t get better» Rob-go back to Planet Fitness.

Before joining Beyond Limits Training, I was a member of a big box gym. All I can say is I like Beyond Limits much better. It is smaller and more personal. Also, I’m the kind of person that would much rather support a local business then a huge chain. All the trainers are super friendly and always willing to answer a question, give you a spot, etc. The other patrons are nice as well. Since it’s a smaller gym, one can easily say hi/get to know other people. The gym itself has a nice array of free weights and machines. The 24 hour access is wonderful. I have a pretty unforgiving work schedule so knowing I can go anytime is a must have. The membership price is very fair. The pricing for a personal trainer is great, much more reasonable than the chain gyms. Also, the trainers are phenomenal. Some trainers have evening hours which is great for those with rigid schedules. I’ve been with Adam since Jan. On our first meeting he asked me what my goals where and we created a plan to reach them. He is very knowledgeable about everything, weightlifting/exercise, body building, and nutrition. He was able to help me adjust my diet to achieve better results. AND I’ve seen a great change in my body since Jan – much learner, more defined, great abs. I know others who train with Adam and are achieving awesome results. Finally, he is great, friendly person, and I enjoy training with him. I’m 100% pleased with Beyond Limits Training; everything from the facility to trainers has met and exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend this gym and my trainer Adam to anyone.
