We weren’t sure if our GPS had led us astray. But what a gem! We had a flight of beers. I really liked the citrafest and the scarecrow IPA. We shared a pizza!!! Half Hawaiian and Mexican fiesta! Yowza! Loved it! The Mexican Fiesta was super spicy staff was friendly. Can’t wait to try it again!

My wife, 19 month old son, and I all went to 450 North on a very busy Friday evening. It would have been easy for them to over look us for more lucrative and less difficult tables. That is not at all what the staff did. Tracy sat us quickly and continually checked on us. Our waitress Moe was by far the best waitress I have ever had. She never blinked an eye at our son during one of the busiest nights of the week. If you have the opportunity to visit 450 North please do, ask for Tracy and Moe and feel free to bring your kids. Easily the most kid friendly place in Columbus.

They have decent pizza & the beer is getting better Think the price of the pizza is a couple $$$ to high for what you get & can be very slow of busy & the pizza always seems to come out undercooked

This is our go to place for carry out pizza. There is a decent done in area but with a another family it could be a wait. The breadsticks with queso cheese are a must. The bbq nachos are fantastic but a few times the chips have been stale. The pizza is the real deal. Having beer made onsite is also a plus. Be sure to ask for a sample to find the beer of your liking.

Pizza was brick oven… and delish! We tried a flight of beer(all were good, GalaxyFest IPA was my favorite). I also did a tasting of wines, 6 samples for $ 4. Ended up getting 2 bottles to go, 1 as a gift. This is a must visit if you are in the area and you enjoy beer/wine and good pizza.

The beer was mediocre. The ales had an aftertaste that was not pleasant. The condescending eye rolling server said the menu was outdated, as we were expected to know that. We were greeted warmly on the wine side and should have stayed there. Although we sat at the unnaturally close to the bar and uncomfortable stools on a keg we were never greeted by anyone on the near empty empty bar side. The young server had absolute derision as we were not locals. She repeatedly coughed not only into her hand but into another patron’s glass. She NEVER used hand hygiene either by washing or sanitizing. Not even after wiping her nose or washing dishes. I was literally pushed to the side by another server so she may place other patrons dirty dishes on the bar immediately in front of me so the bartender could wash them. Then, the bartender shift change was even worse. Clearly no one is happy working there. We had to listen to the bickering gossip about how bad customers had been all day. Not one single employee smiled whether at us or towards one else. The table behind us also walked out after seeing the poor hygiene. How does this place remain open? Ridiculous prices, especially for a flight of beer since they refused tastings or samples stating«we don’t have those here.» Very outdated décor. The restroom had a broken toilet seat, no soap and broken paper towel dispenser.

Best Pizza in Columbus!!! By far!!! I am not a big fan of their beers but the pizza crust is worth the wait.

This place is a hidden gem. I send people here from work all the time and have yet to hear anything bad. The have some of the best pizzas right out of the brick oven.

The beer was excellent: Scarecrow IPA was bursting with hops flavor, and the apricot bourbon barrel Belgian was a nice dessert. The margherita pizza was delicious, though I wish the basil had been distributed more evenly rather than plopped mostly in the center. I’m not a big fan of Mexican pizzas, but the one here was pretty good, as was the pepperoni. A few changes would bump this place up to 5 stars for me. First, the use of plastic plates is cheap and wasteful. Ditto styrofoam take-home boxes that you have to fold the large pizza slices to fit into. And it was everyone in my party of seven’s first time being here. When we pulled up, we saw signs for«Winery,» «Brewery,» and«Banquet Hall» on the buildings, but nothing about pizza/restaurant. When I walked in, the servers just looked at me rather than greeting me, so I asked where the restaurant was, and one quickly said«This is it, sit wherever you like,» but I saw that almost all the big tables had«reserved» signs on them. But those were minor issues and I’ll probably come back at some point, at least for a beer – especially the Barn Yeti, one of my favorite local brews of the past few years, which I think might be a winter seasonal.

A winery AND a brewery. in the same building?! Awesome! Did wine tasting and beer sampling. I’m more of a beer person so I preferred the beer but my mother loved their wine selection. I’d say they had about 30 wines. They had 10 beers on tap and I got a flight of six. The Ironman was GROSS! The Irish Red was unimpressive but I wouldn’t say it was gross. Now that the bad is out of the way on to the good! This place has a very cool set up. You can taste and also sit down and order a meal with a bottle or a pint. 6 wines for $ 4 to taste and $ 9 for 65oz pours of beer in the flight. We tasted then sat down and ordered a pizza. They are known for their brick oven pizzas so obviously had to go with that on the first visit. The garlic knots with queso were also recommended as an appetizer so we got those as well. The pizza comes in one size, large and they have several specialty pizzas, all for $ 20. They said we could go half and half with the pizza so we did the traditional sausage and pep on one half and their Mexican fiesta pizza on the other. The garlic knots were AMAZING! Also, I now see what the hype is about this pizza. I was disappointed I tried the Mexican pizza first but it was life changing so the plain old sausage and pep(which was still very good) didn’t measure up. They also sell growlers.$ 4.50 for the growler and $ 8 to fill with most of their beers. I believe I saw they have a $ 5 fill day on Tuesday. It’s a very far drive to come out here from downtown as it is in middle of nowhere Columbus but it is worth it. We will defintely be back!

I really wish I could give this place five stars. I really want to but repeat poor service makes me give this place four stars. I would give 3.5 if I could. The atmosphere is great and you might have a hard time convincing someone a delicious pizza/brewery/winery is that far out into the country in comparison to what the rest of «Columbus proper» has to off. Just a few minutes from the airport, this restaurant is all by it’s lonesome. I barely receive cell phone signal(a great thing!) and there is no offered wifi(also a great thing! It also probably keeps the«lingerers» from sticking around so they can refresh the tables with new customers. If you go in groups larger than four, except very long wait times. The service itself is no bad, but you will often be forgotten about or disregarded. You will wait for refills and if you don’t order as soon as you get there, you will wait in 15 – 20 minute blocks of time before someone will come back to your table. When someone shows up, they are always friendly and helpful but the proprietorship needs to hire about two times the amount of wait staff. We’ve had two different kinds of appetizers from 450. The nachos and the garlic bread(knots). The bread stick knots are delicious and unique to the restaurant. Drenched in garlicy butter and almost too hot to touch — so you know it is fresh! The nachos are pretty good but nothing special outside of the pub food element. The pizza is made to order and cooked in a brick style oven. The pizza is consistently delicious. We’ve had slightly dark crust before, but I kind of like that. I think they are so pressed for time in cooking pizzas in such a small oven that they try to get them in and out as quickly as possible. The margherita pizza is the best(and possibly only?) one in town… possibly the best in Indiana. The beer and cider has been very inconsistent and this is symptomatic of new breweries. When the beer is good, it’s good. I’ve had many growlers or pints where there was little or no carbonation and this wasn’t a stylistic choice — an obvious brewing error. The cinder has ranged from being very tart to overly sweet — it can pack a higher ABV than advertised. We went with a group of 8 last week. It took 35/minutes to get my card back from the wait staff. Good grief! Highlights: Apps: Garlic Knots, Nachos Main Fare: margherita pizza, BBQ Chicken, Classic Pepperoni Dessert: ??? Never had room Beers: Copperhead(lighter colour beer), Pothole Porter(when available, for dark beer lovers) Protip: Join their rewards program for free apps/pizzas with repeat business… if you can stand the wait.

We arrived at 5:30 to a packed parking lot and a line out the door. We weren’t quoted a wait time but were seated within 10 minutes. Though we were seated quickly and our server was great, I observed some other tables that received very slow service which is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. They were out of the wheat beer, so the server talked me into the Pale Ale and it was fantastic. I had two. Our breadsticks came out within 2 minutes, yet the pizza probably took 15 but it was worth the wait. We ordered half veggie and half pepperoni. One of my pet peeves is getting a half pizza that is cut badly so there are a couple mixed pieces. Not so today. This baby was cut with surgical precision. All in all, our experience was great! Good food, great beer, friendly service, happy atmosphere. Another reviewer complained that her takeout was undercooked. If you’re reading this, let me know when you want to go out and give 450 North another shot because this place is soooooo good! Get you some!

Great beer. Ironman is a staple and the winter Barn Yeti is fantastic. My wife loves the wine and the pizza goes without saying… AMAZING! Favorite restaurant in Columbus.

Very disappointing. After giving this place 2 years to get it right, we finally ordered take out tonight. Get the pizza home and it was still uncooked dough. Had to put it in the oven to be able to eat it. If I wanted to cook my own pizza I would pay half the price and go to Papa Murphy’s. Extremely annoyed.

I’m going to agree with other posters and say from time to time, service leaves something to be desired. But that aside, everything about this place is amazing. I grew up just a few miles from this place. I remember before there was a winery, then when there was just a winery, and imagine my surprise when I found they’d become a microbrew/restaurant! They’re growing by leaps and bounds. The food is reasonable, everyone raves about the beer(I can’t speak to this, I’m not a beer drinker), and the wine is awesome. Tastings aren’t free anymore(boo) but they aren’t expensive, either. And, if you’re a home-brew kinda guy, there’s a heck of a selection for ingredients for wine and beer in the store! My family and I eat there probably once a month.

I feel like it’s important that I leave an updated review since 450’s service has really improved. It’s possible the staff was just having a bad day the last time we dined in. Although we sat at the bar we did see the woman who waited on us previously, she was all smiles and very sweet this time. Their pizza is what will always keep me coming back, I swear it gets better and better each time I eat it! The crust is everything you could ever want in a pizza crust; fluffy, bubbly, doughy(in a good way), and crunchy in all the right places. The cheese, sauce, and toppings are all exceptional as well. My review is so long but I can’t leave out their outstanding beer. They truly do an amazing job making all of the flavors stand out but not in an overpowering way. I’ve tried the porter, IPA, Amber, honey kolsch, farmhouse wheat, and the Barn Yeti. The barn yeti is definitely my favorite! It’s a winter Belgian, I feel like it’s similar to a porter or stout. They go down so smooth, but watch out, their 9%!

Good Night! I thought my roomie/partner in crime was taking me to a brewery, not a cornfield! Just kidding, we got to the brewery… eventually. But real talk, the drive is really nice. It’s a nice break from the urban brewery scene us Indianapolis-in’s are used too. We just stopped in on our way to Ferdinand, and the waitress was lovely! She was willing to give us a little sip before we decided on which pint we were going for, and when we decided on the cider, she was quick to inform us just how it was made, what was in it, etc. Loved her! We didn’t stay for food but I will most certainly be making it a stop when I visit my parents for the holidays, but as for the cider, Two thumbs up!

450 North is closer than you think! You can get there for lunch from Columbus. Outdoor seating at picnic tables on a deck with a view of the vineyards is very nice especially in the spring and fall. Pizza is available by the slice with ANY toppings — a unique system. They pre-cook and slice the crust. When you order they add topping and pop your slices in their stone pizza oven. Two slices is a hearty lunch. They have the usual toppings and some unique choices. Recently their special pizza was a Cuban Pizza, like a Cuban Sandwich turned into a pizza! Who would have thought! It was delicious! Toppings included pulled pork, ham, pickles, and a mustard based sauce with I think some swiss cheese in the mix. It was just like a cuban sandwich! They have these garlic knots as an appetizer which are to die for as well.

Woah, this place is in the middle of the country — literally amongst the corn fields of southern Indiana. You need GPS or someone who knows its there to find it; but it’s a spot worth discovering! Recently went here for lunch with my brother and his girlfriend. We had a great time — tried some wine, a few beers and had a good lunch. Cute place and friendly staff! I’d come back without a doubt.
