Gave the place the benefit of the doubt for being in a strip mall. But the service, food and beer selections did not help out. Would try again and may rate better. If it did not take a full 5 minutes to get a beer when the place was empty.

Food was pretty good. Atmosphere doesn’t really remind me of London. Just seems like they are relying on the pictures on the wall to make it feel like that. I had the chicken pot pie and it was tasty but nothing spectacular. Still, I’d go back again and try something else. When we went it was super crowded.

The bangers and mash were mushy. The mushy peas were chunky. The fish and chips were… I’m not exactly sure what, but they just weren’t right — especially for a whopping $ 15. Worst of all, it took us over an hour to get our food. Won’t be returning or recommending.

Alright, so I’ve been back, twice now since my last review. We made a point though not to come during busy hours. What can I say, you’ve got the best pretzels in town, which pretty much is the reason we returned, that and COLD beer. We haven’t deviated much from our staples from your menu. Pretzels and burgers, although my daughter likes your mac n’ cheese. Burgers are good. Food coming from the kitchen has been much quicker, but again, came in during slower hours. I hope the speed in which the food comes out during busier times have improved! The last two times in we were lucky enough to be served by Janine. Friendly, prompt, great service, there when you need her, but not hovering. Thank you Janine! We’ll be back, particularly for the pretzels!

The fish and chips were very overcooked. The fresh cut fries were dark, dark brown with that distinct scorched flavor. The fish batter was pretty flavorless, but not terrible. For $ 15, I was disappointed. My husband liked his QE2 Burger. The waitress was nice and attentive, and the food arrived within a reasonable timeframe. The atmosphere was good, if not a little crowded, but thats pretty authentic. I’m interested in brunch, so I may go back.

The food is good and drink selection is broad. The place is cool and has the potential for an awesome atmosphere, but the dining room is painstakingly quiet. Please start playing some music! You could hear a pin drop, and it’s uncomfortable. I’d settle for anything. Bagpipes even. Just something to kill the silence.

Had dinner here a couple nights ago, we came back for brunch today and OMG! It is delicious! Possibly the best French toast I have had in my life. It was well worth it to go. For dinner we had pretzels, Shepard’s pie, and chicken and chips for dinner and it was all really good! The staff was very polite and attentive. And the atmosphere is very nice for a family dinner. We will be back!

Good food and nice atmosphere. Waiters/staff aren’t the greatest but are friendly and very clearly new. Will be coming back!

I’m always looking for great local food with an awesome atmosphere. Lady and pint brings a lot of bang with traditional English pub food and atmosphere. Try the pies, they don’t disappoint.

What a great friendly place. I travel all over the country and I’m always in search of good fish and chips. They use cod and the batter is truly homemade and dipped right there in the restaurant. The night I was in the owner was behind the bar and took time to talk. They have a great selection of local brews try the caramel cream ale. I can’t wait to get back again.

We’ve been back multiple times as we’ve made playing darts over dinner and beer a regular thing. The food has been great every time. The only time something was wrong was when the Hodge Podge Soup(chicken soup) was only barely warm. They apologized and brought us out a bowl(instead of the cup I had) when the pot was hot. They also comped the soup. It is a really good chicken soup, perfect with the colder weather. My friend got the lamb sliders last time and they were really good. The pretzel sticks always come out nice and hot. We’ve also had the QE2 burger, mushy peas, and a few specials. I keep forgetting to save room for desert :) Time from order to arrival has often been slower than I would expect, but not an issue for use because we are playing darts. This is a place to go when you want to relax and spend time with your friends, you’ll have plenty!

Definitely not coming back! First time we went there, they were busy, after waiting for an hour and a half for our food to come, the waitress told us «sorry, it will be a while longer.» We left, but decided to give this place another try today! There were only 3 other tables today, however the food took about 25 mins. when my burger came out, it was almost rare and i ordered medium well! The waitress took it back and i waited another 10 minutes for a new burger. the food is not bad, however the kitchen staff needs some major work.

We will be back again soon! The food was on point. My husband got the Shepard’s Pie and mushy peas, which were done right. The QE2 burger with mushrooms and Gruyère was yummy and cooked perfectly. Burgers that size usually mean I’m taking some home, but I couldn’t resist eating the whole thing. We sat at the bar, and the staff each said hello to us and asked how we were doing even though they weren’t waiting on us. The owner also took time to talk with us before we left. They had a decent beer selection, including typical English and Irish beers you’d expect at a pub, and good local/regional options as well. The atmosphere is great for a slightly older crowd. Definitely not a college bar, which is what the owner is going for. Can’t wait to take some friends here for dinner and a pint!

Delicious food! Good ambiance! Football! But we had very bad luck– either with the server or the kitchen, or both. –I was served chicken salad instead of tuna salad. I’m not eating meat(except seafood),.so that sucks since I already ate half the sandwich before. –getting a rather large chicken bone in my mouth(that’s what she said). It wasn’t as fun as you’d think. –our server seemed to find the whole thing funny, though. And a good sense of humor is important, or so I’ve heard. –The manager was nonchalant, but offered the tuna sandwich I ordered. I declined– since I lost my appetite. but thanked him nonetheless. –I was brought the bill and paid entirely for their mistake. –found out why my brother didn’t eat after we left the restaurant: the server completely forgot to take his order! Twice! Lol –oh and did I mention it was at 1pm. and the place was empty. So it wasn’t that they were short handed. I’ve worked in restaurants– I get it. I’m not an unforgiving asshat. But it’ll take some prying before I go back. Cheers!

Wanting a bar that blasts pop music, serves cheap bland beer and boring American food? Go somewhere else. They want you to. This place’s cozy feel is truly British(I vouch as a former Londoner), the food is legit and reasonable(44 Stone’s prices can go to hell), the TV’s are big and new and show both English soccer and American football. This leaves me with a dilemma. I shouldn’t tell you about this place but I will. The place is small so seating is limited and therefore me telling you this is shooting myself in the foot. The owners, Doug and Stephanie, seem like great people(though they are locals!) which inclines me to spread the word. I had a Scotch egg with mustard sauce and some brown ale. It was spot on. I’m sure their(apparently massive) Sunday brunch and Saturday morning football fare are equally so. This place will not always have a set menu as quality ingredients such as fine lamb will fluctuate. CoMo needs places just like this. All over downtown. As this is not the case, I can only hope it is the start of a delicious and thirst-quenching trend. Cheers

YES! Well, they just opened up, so they have some growing pains. We’ve been twice. The first time was on a slow weekday night, and it was great. The next time was on their second Friday ever, and they were swamped and not ready for it. Word got out quick about how good it is, and then it became an example of «be careful what you wish for…» The kitchen was swamped, and it took a while. But the FOODWASGREATANDTHESTAFFCARED!!! both times. They’ll work out the growing pains, and we’ll be back!

The food, service, and value were outstanding. The special was a lamb burger that was awesome. We also had the chicken pot pie and it was great. Chicken pot pie comes with salad and side. The lamb burger came with a side. Sides were also great. The staff really seem to care. Highly recommended!

The food was awesome! Service was great. They did forget one of our sides, but we didn’t realize until after we left. I’ll definitely be returning in the future.
