Well-Being Massage Studio and Spa

I’ve been going here off and on over the years and have always had an excellent massage. I have been to about 3 different massage therapists and each one did an absolutely amazing job. By far this is the best place foasdages I’ve been too which is why I always come back. The only downside I can think which isn’t important to me in the least is that the waiting room and front desk areas in each location are not as relaxing or have the sort of spa like ambience one would expect when going for a massage.

I’m not a big review writer in general but decided it was time to write one about this place and Yuri. I’ve been coming here off and on for the last couple of years along with getting massages at different places in between. Hands down, I still get the best massage from Yuri. I generally go when I start having pains in my neck and back or when I need some loosening up from my workouts. I do like a very firm massage so I don’t mind the deep pressure that goes along with breaking up the knots. Right after each massage, I definitely feel much better but it is over the course of a couple of days when I really feel the benefits of each massage from Yuri. This doesn’t always happen when I get massages elsewhere.
This time, I decided to book one of the packages which included the infrared sauna, a brown sugar scrub, and 90 minute massage. This was probably the best, and most relaxing, experience I’ve had. The relaxation started with the sauna for about 20 – 25 minutes. Then, a brown sugar scrub, which, after getting rinsed off, felt like my skin was renewed and I had taken a nice warm bath. Then, on to the massage which I can’t remember much because I fell asleep!
Unfortunately, I’m moving out of the area but, after this spa day, I think I’m going to have to make a trip here a couple times a year to do it again!

I just got my very first massage ever from Jenny today and I loved it! She was amazing and made me feel very comfortable. I came out feeling so light and refreshed, I would definitely come back.

Li is the absolute best massage therapist I have ever had!!! The staff is great. The place is clean. Love it.

Just got our 60 minutes hot stone massages. My friend had Lee giving him his massage, I got Danielle. Danielle did a great job. She was very considerate with how I was feeling. We walked out feeling rejuvenated. It was super relaxing. I love this place. Will definitely be back.

I am somewhat of a massage addict, to say the least. Racking in over 1,000 massages in my 30 year life, I would say I know a thing or two when it comes to a good massage. ;)
With that being said, Emil is one of the top 10 deep-​tissue massage therapists I have had in my life, but easily the #1 most passionate.
For someone who has only been doing massage for 2.5 years you would think he is a 20+ year veteran.
As a man, I typically haven’t committed to another male therapist for very long. I have nothing against male therapists, and really don’t know why I seem to levitate towards women therapists. Although, Emil is someone I could see myself with for a long time.
The only downside, if any, is this studio is connected to a Crossfit studio. In the waiting room you can hear faint grunting and weights clinging, but not in the massage rooms.
Overall, this place is top-​notch.

I saw Emil today for my first massage in 3.5−4 years. I chose this place for its numerous positive reviews and I was not disappointed! Emil was amazing and took the time to work out the kinks in my knotted muscles. I will definitely be back for another!

I love this place. Everyone I’ve had is so knowledgable and they take the time to find out your needs. This is my go to place for massage from now on.

I have had a facial with Julia and a massage with Yuri. Both were excellent! I gave it a four instead of the five because I am sensitive to odors, and I can smell the CrossFit mats when I walk in. This, however, does not stop me from returning as the quality of the services is excellent.

I am updating this review because I just returned from well-​being massage, and the smell was gone! I also had an excellent massage with Emil. I highly recommend this place!

I recently had a massage here with Li. It was a great experience. The space is clean and welcoming. Li gave a great deep tissue massage that was the real deal. She helped work out some of my tight muscles and I will definitely return again.

Very clean and neat place! Yuri was very welcome and professional! Massage was the best I’ve ever had! Also we were let to use sauna, which was perfect pre-​massage treat! I will definitely come back!!!

I’ve been here twice now — once at the old location and once at the new location. The new location is easier to find (right on Dobbin Road) even though I initially thought it was strange that it’s surrounded on 3 sides by a Cross Fit gym, but beyond the main entrance, you don’t notice it at all (and I didn’t hear any noise from the gym either).
Christina is seriously my new favorite person and I will definitely be making more appointments to see her, so she can work her magic on my back and shoulders. It’s been 2 days and some of my muscles still hurt (in the good post-​massage «no more knots» feeling). Well-​Being and Christina are definitely my new go-​to massage place!

I have found my new go-​to spa in Columbia. They may be easy to miss since the location is a little out of the way, but definitely a hidden gem. They have a great variety of services, including massages, facials, body contouring, and waxing. The prices are completely reasonable and they offer specials. The space is clean and relaxing. I even loved the covers on the table! My therapist was Li and she is definitely a pro. She located all the spots that give me little pangs throughout the day and really worked on my knotty areas. I will definitely be back!

Afterwards, I put my jeans on inside out — an indication of an overly relaxed me. Courtney even massaged my petite fingers and palms, something no one has ever done and I loved it. She found my hidden sore spots and soothed them with her gentle touch.
Two cons that won’t deter me from visiting again, but worth mentioning:
The burning of the overly sweet scented candle, was a bit too overpowering for me and I thought the music choice was odd and def not relaxing. I asked Courtney to turn off the unusual and loud music, but she said she didn’t have that capability in her room.

This place is AWESOME. Don’t be fooled by the outside, I got a better massage here than Red Door in Bethesda. I went to Courtney, and she was amazing. The Unilocal reviews are spot on.

I’ve been here twice and I’ll definitely be coming back. Don’t get me wrong: deep-​tissue massage ~hurts~. But it’s totally worth it as they finally unlock all those muscles and the pinched nerves begin to sink back to where they were supposed to be.
Of the two staff I’ve had, I like Cheryl the most, but the others are perfectly fine. Just make sure you’ve made your appointment in advance (sometimes even the same day, if they have openings) and you’re all set. Pricing is decent (for the industry) and the place is very relaxing. They’ll work with you on what specifically you need and making sure you’re comfortable.
So, if you need a break or some work done on your body, then I definitely recommend scheduling an appointment here!

I love this place! I did a search in Google and found them. So made an appointment end September using their online site. Flawless and received a follow up call to confirm and fill out the forms on their website to be ready to go when I arrived. The website has a wealth of info so if first time I would read through it. Upon arrival was greeted by Kristi (she did my massage) and handed over my forms that I filled out. Then was guided back to the room for my massage. Very clean being a former housekeeper that is A BIG pet peeve of mine. She listened to what I needed her to focus on and gave me feedback on certain areas to work on stretching.
I must say I do not get massages often (more like never!) but had a nagging upper back ache and PF plantar fasciitis on my right foot both THE worst pain ever :-(
There is really not a bad thing to say about this place. From beginning to end it was a great experience. It is located in an area a little bit off the path and they called me to make sure I made my way in. Because I did get lost. Columbia is just made that way such a pain… I plan on going here once a month to stay limber. I made an October appointment before I left and plan to keep it!
