I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this pharmacy. My fiancé had oral surgery in the plaza down the street, and they sent us here afterwards because it was nearby and had a drive-through window. If you are caring for someone after oral surgery, you can’t leave them in the car, because they may wander off, and you can’t take them inside, because they can’t walk straight and may faint. We dropped off his prescriptions and the person at the window said they would be ready in 15 – 20 minutes. Not wanting to take my fiancé home and have to wake him up and put him back in the car, I waited in the parking lot for the text message. After 40 minutes, I went back to the window and asked if the medicine was ready. They said that they had not filled it because of a problem with the insurance, but they never called us to address the issue or ask if we wanted it filled. The payment difference without insurance was only $ 20, so I asked for the medicines to be filled. The person at the window was very rude and told me in no uncertain terms not to come back until we got a text message, which should be in 10 – 15 minutes. After 20 minutes I returned to the window, despite again not getting a text message, and the medicines were ready. On a normal day, this would have only been a inconvenience, but as it were, I had a very medicated person sitting in the car on a hot day for over an hour before we could get his medicines. He was very ill by the time we got him home and ended up fainting and hitting his head on the floor pretty hard. We will not be back.

A PLUS! They filled my RX’s while we waited and it only took 15 minutes. Which is a miracle considering that I had never been there before AND they had to call my insurance compant to verify coverage. Rock on, Walgreen.
