Union Station Grill

Great food, my girlfriend and I both enjoyed our meals and, the take out I brought home to my husband was delicious as well. I had their crab cake sandwich which was on point. Large lumps of crab meat and just enough breading to hold it together. Drinks were great too, strong for the price, I could taste my Gin in a Gin and ginger. To top it off our server, Amanda, was fantastic… friendly, helpful with recommendations, cheerful, and quick. She was the only server on the weeknight we stopped in and she had a 10 top plus 4 or 5 other tables. We’ll definitly be back!

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday, and before we even sat down, there were issues. We are not local to the area, so when we walked in, we had no idea how to proceed as there was no sign indicating whether we had to wait to be seated or if we could seat ourselves. After standing awkwardly for a minute or so, the bartender said we could sit anywhere. Mystery solved. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with fries and my husband ordered fish and chips. I was not blown away by my dish, however, as the fries were limp and not crispy. The grilled cheese was alright, but tasted a bit strange. Maybe it was missing butter or didn’t have enough butter or the cheese itself was an odd flavor? Something tasted strange, but I couldn’t put my finger on exactly what it was. I ate almost everything because I was hungry, but to be frank, I wouldn’t stop in here again. What’s more, my husband said the men’s bathroom was disgusting. Again, it wasn’t an awful experience, but the taste of the food (apart from the fish, which my husband said was cooked perfectly) and the cleanliness of the men’s bathroom left much to be desired.

Very good food, great service, very clean place with a nice neighborhood feel. Both of us had the B&O burger. Tasty, cooked perfectly! Crab dip was very good, pita points crisp but flaky. Would definitely return here again. No real dinners, more burgers, sandwiches, wraps, etc.

This place was fabulous. Had the cheesesteak with hand cut fries. Best cheesesteak around. Will come here more often.

Had «Fire Box» wings as an appetizer– they were fantastic. For my meal I had the crab cake also very good but being a Marylander I would have liked some Old Bay in it. Mark was our waiter, he was very personable and made the whole experience very pleasurable.

Barbecue wings and beer battered fries were delicious however we saw really delicious nachos on another table and when ours came they were actually the most pathetically topped nachos I’ve ever had. The veggie panini was mediocre and a little soggy.

Been there twice now and would have to say it’s struggling to even be average in as far as food quality and service go. First time I got their signature crab burger, really lacked flavor. Next time I went on a Tuesday night where you get New York strip steaks and fried shrimp, and I’ve never had a New York strip steak worse than this one. The icing on the cake was when I asked for another plastic container of cocktail sauce and it showed up on my bill for an extra 50 cents. Seriously? Let’s just say I’m not itching to go back and leave it at that.

We love Union. Great Service. Good food, with reasonable prices. Try their house beer, Red Kepi Ale. One of my favorites.
They have bands occasionally and also DJs and they normally sound pretty good. The outside area is nice too, especially if you’re a smoker — you can bring your drink out and relax.

The best crab cakes in Pennsylvania and beyond. Great outdoor bar and seating. Service is exceptional. All entrees are consistently very good.

the food was fine but the price didn’t really match the portion size. also… the men’s restroom could use a lock. maybe.

Excellent experience! Family of 4, 2 young kids. Service and food were outstanding. Out of town visiting Turkey Hill and would come back again!

cute place, they had a special for buffalo chicken egg rolls and they were amazing. They had a nice outside area, only reason i may not go back was because some of the other customers were a little odd

Very nice surprise! Not much to look at on the outside but the service was great and the food was very good! I got the Cajun chicken wrap and my mom got the Pgh steak hoagie. Lots of meat and the sides were good too! Salad was fresh and crunchy and the fries were hot and seasoned perfectly.

This is a great bar and restaurant in Columbia. I was pleasantly surprised by both the menu, the quality, and the service. I will most definitely be back to enjoy!

Very good burgers made fresh. Friendly owner, beautiful atmosphere. I was here for St. Patrick’s Day, and they had an Irish fiddle player sitting in the corner doing his thing. It was great!

I have only been here once to see a band a friend of mine plays in. I have to say that I thought this was a pretty nice bar for Columbia. It was clean, well lit, nonsmoking, and not too noisy. The service was good and the staff was friendly. One complaint I do have is that there was no door on the toilet. If you happen to need to go #2, you will have the pleasure of sharing the experience with anyone else using the urinal next to you. I also felt like maybe they could have had more TV’s to watch sports, however I will not hold that against them as they do not claim to be a sports bar. I would definitely come back.

Local Bar so there are locals in there. Great place to hang out and have a good melow time. Owners are great people.
