Tower Construction

I hired Tower Construction to install eight windows in my home. I ordered wood look windows to match the interior of my home and the contractors lined them with white caulk which looked awful. The owner/​CEO/​sales person stated that it was an oversight and that they would be taken care of. The contractors did not show the first two times they were scheduled. When they did show they did a rush job on my windows leaving a significant amount of white caulking and did a terrible job with the replacement caulking. When I expressed I was unhappy I was met with the threat of a lien against my house and being dragged into court if I did not give him the remaining balance of $ 500 regardless of the outcome of my windows. I had my first set of windows done by Long Fence and had a wonderful experience. Although Long Fence was more expensive in the long run you definitely get what you pay for.
Review update: 5÷19÷15− I received a call from Tower Construction asking me to take my review down as it was hurting his business. The owner offered a $ 250 gift card.
I did not post a review on the basement door that was installed by Tower Construction in my previous post so I decided to post an update. Several calls were placed to Tower Construction with no return call because the basement door no longer is able to open which of course is a fire hazard. When the owner finally was reached he promised to call on 5÷18÷15 to schedule to come out and take care of the door. After no call a call was placed to the owner on ⁵⁄₁₉ who said he would send someone out in a month or two. When he was told that was unacceptable, he stated the fact that a negative review was placed was unacceptable to him.
I am changing the rating from 2 stars to 1 as he does not stand by his work or his word.
