Great food and friendly service. I was born and raised in Tokyo and I can tell you this is pretty good Japanese food in Middle TN!

I staked out the new Asian restaurant in town located in the former Jersey Mike’s. The doorway had a cloth screen to walk through that was very similar to hanging pants. Funny! Four Japanese employees hopped up in preparation to serve me. I was the only customer. Very clean, new floor and furnishings. Their English was marginal; I had to ask to repeat most things, but I understood after the second time mostly. They were gracious hosts. The menu was inexpensive for Japanese – just what I was hoping for. I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Bento Dinner. The fried rice was a good consistency and pleasant taste. The Spring Rolls and California Rolls were great – the true test! It came with two generous salmon portions nicely cooked, so I split everything in half and took half of it home in a box to enjoy a second time. All this for $ 7.25. It passed the test. I’m bringing back my family! Update: The wife liked it, and the pants were moved to the wall.
