The Buckle

Only store I know of in Columbia to buy country apparel. My boyfriend got a nice shirt for a country music concert and they have a nice variety of both men’s and women’s clothes, boots, accessories, etc. Ask for Laura and she’ll take good care of you! Everyone is very friendly and good at helping you pick out clothes that pair well together.

Customer service here is absolutely top notch. When I’m shopping in a mall I don’t look for sales reps to ask or bother to remember my name but here they make a point of it. They care what you’re looking for and why you’re here today. The woman who worked with us, Kim, went out of her way to figure out what my husband was shopping for and make suggestions and pull items we may like. She constantly checked on us as we were trying on items. The entire shopping experience was pleasant, comfortable, easy, and fun which when shopping with a guy says a lot. If we are ever in the area again this will definitely be where we stop and shop.

Was here on the morning of feb 18, 2014. This is actually one of the stores I have to go into if I am at the mall, our mall def needs better stores and this is one of the good ones so it’s a must that I visit and take my time. Buckle has a huge amount of denim in a variety of colors, styles, cuts, etc. I am 5’4 and about a size 27 – 29 waist and although the fits are all different I can always find at least 6 pairs that I must «debate» — or go broke. They have a decent range of prices though a bit on the expensive side the jeans are worth it. I ended up with 3 that day.
I cannot remember the sales girls name but I will say she was extremely helpful! Too many people these days just leave you to rot in the dressing room without any help at all or with some help but they are in a hurry and don’t take the time to actually LOOK for your size or something similar… But no she took the time and she was also helping another in the room next to me. She was digging through piles of denim for both of us and she was super sweet and kind. I think she likes her job, she seemed like a people person. She was very helpful and informative even while I stood there in the back of the store looking over my picks! She was very patient just over all a pretty good person who just made my shopping as easy as could be. Then the man who rang me up — another good person! He was friendly and helpful to! He bagged up my new jeans all nice for me and even walked around the counter to hand me the bag.
Buckle goes beyond the boring unhelpful mall experience and seems to actually care about their customers and getting them in some nice new jeans that fit well — they will even help you make up your mind! It was a chunk of change I spent but I did get 3 very nice, well fitting, cute, different colored, pairs of jeans plus some had holes just like I wanted. They look good and are the right length too for my wedges and boots.
No tops this time as I already had some from a previous trip — I love the Obey t shirts and the hippie tops! Get more hippie tops that are not very see through :). I’m not very good at layering!
