A very typical Americanized Asian buffet … I mean, they serve«barbecue», loaded baked potatoes, and sliced ham … on top of the typical Chinese buffet ilk. There’s not much atmosphere to speak of beyond the typical Asian murals, although it does have an awesome Koi pond. There’s no sense of immersion, though. Probably the best thing about it is you can get a free meal if you use their transport service to/from St. Louis and Kansas City. You can feed an army there for a decent price. It has a huge open floor plan with several group areas for private parties. Great for work parties and groups of 10+. Steer clear of the sushi … it’s tempting, but it’s been sitting there way too long. Go for something cooked and hot. Their«stick meat» chicken and fried rice I could eat all day.

Went there at 730pm. The selection was amazing and we were very excited. The food was all well presented and steaming however not one item was above room temperature. The only food that wasn’t cold was the Mongolian BBQ. Very concerning that the meat and seafood was all cold. Won’t be back. Very disappointed as they have great potential if food was hot.

We came in with about 30 people after my brothers graduation. We were seated in the empty party room which was excellent. They only assigned us one server, which resulted in a long time between drink refills and plate clean up. The buffet was typical Chinese buffet food. Nothing spectacular, but everything was decent. They have a hibachi grill, so that definitely makes it worth visiting. The restaurant was clean and the buffet was constantly being restocked which is another plus. There was not a lot of diversity in the food, but it was pretty good. The«American» food section, which consisted of macaroni and cheese and cheesesticks, was the only food area that was ignored. It didn’t look like this food has been replaced in awhile. Overall, it was decent. Nothing special.

Our family from Seattle, New York, Indianapolis, then settle at Columbia. have to say this is one of best Asian buffet in this town, people nice, food is fresh. Of course it can not beat down Chinese buffet in NYC. But in the Midwest, this one absolute is top level.

We used to be once a week customers here for a few years and as time goes by the buffet has gone done hill. We went last night for the first time in a month and we decided for two reasons it will be a long time before we even think of going back. 1. Ever since they put in the bus company to the airports the food quality has dramatically dropped to almost nil. We used to be able to go in and have a great meal and very little got left on plates to be thrown away. Last night very little got eaten other than the mini cups of ice cream. 2. They used to have semi real fortune cookies but now they have sold out to the Missouri Lottery and all the fortunes are printed by the MO lottery and all say that your life will be better if you buy a lottery ticket. To top it all off the hand written ticket was correct as 3 people but the printed ticket was for 2 people and 2 drinks. We went up to pay and the lady, who is normally very friendly, acted like we changed the ticket and was very rude about the mistake. She quickly changed the amount on the ticket– I don’t blame her for that as it is business, but she didn’t have to be rude about it, I had the proper amount of money out to pay. She asked if everything was okay after I handed over the money and I told her no we won’t be back because the food wasn’t as good as it used to be and that they sold out with the fortune cookies being printed up by the MO lottery.

I love this place! It’s such a hidden gem. The décor is fun, and the Hibachi grill is awesome. There’s always great deals in the ad sheet for $ 1.00 off lunch. Definitely check it out!

Great buffet with an awesome selection. Love the grill. Plus they are a local base for shuttle service to KC and St Louis airport. The bonus is that when you pay for the service you get a free buffet.

For being the only kind of Chinese buffet in CoMo, I enjoyed it. I liked the sushi and a few of the hot entrees really stood out. Was I wowed? No. But it’s decent food for a decent price. Plus the staff was nice. Enjoyed the mini ice cream cups as well.

Really good assortment on the buffet and the price is very reasonable. They have sushi and a hibachi grill where you can make your dish to order.

There are many options for every taste bud on this buffet. A lot of food for cheap. Overall the value is there and I am satisfied with the choices available.

I know what I am in for when I go to Chinese buffet. Nothing outstanding and lots of options. This met my expectations. I tried a little bit of a lot of different items. My favorites were the coconut chicken, the hibachi chicken, and the sesame balls. The hot and sour soup was mostly mushrooms and had the icky gel texture that I don’t really like in a soup. The crab rangoon had no crab and had a sweet flavor. The seafood medley had a curry sauce that was good. General’s chicken and Hong Kong chicken were OK. I chomped on three different mouthfuls of chicken connector material that I couldn’t eat. Yuck. Oh well. Don’t like American Chinese food? Well then, visit the pasta and pizza bar! I do believe this is the most extensive Chinese buffet I have ever seen, and it was relatively clean. Just a side note: a lot of Asian people were eating here. Now then, I don’t know if this is because Columbia doesn’t have many ethnic options or if it is because it is supposed to really be that good. I didn’t think it was outstanding, but I will return if the occasion comes up and my lunch companion wants to go. The price was right at about $ 7 for lunch. I guess the thing I disliked most was the crowd…extremely busy and loud with lots of unattended toddlers running and climbing. Get your kids under control, people!

As far as chinese buffets go, I’ve had worse. For the money, I would have much rather gone to China Garden, where I’ve never been disappointed. Since it was my first time here, I sampled a little bit of everything and I couldn’t eat a lot of it, I was pretty disappointed.

For a buffet around mid-Missouri, this place is nice. The prices are reasonable and if you are a student, you can get a discount. They have a diverse sellection of entrees and they can cook something for you in their Mongolian Grill area. Their sushi is not the best, but it’s pretty good for a buffet.

I had many suggestions for this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. Once we arrived, we were quickly seated and given our drinks. There is no doubt that the selection at Teppanyaki was great. They had everything from sesame chicken to crawfish but the food itself was pretty terrible. The sesame chicken I had was cold and sauce very runny. I decided to get some broccoli, when I began to eat it I noticed a thick jell on the broccoli. Overall I was pretty disappointed in Teppanyaki, but granted I did not try the hibachi, which could have improved the experience.

Great Chinese buffet! My personal favorite in CoMo actually. Price is great in that lunch is only 7.50, dinner is 9.00 but if you catch the weekly coupon in the paper or discount booklets you save a buck at lunch or a buck and a half at dinner. Pass on the beverage and you have a deal you cant beat any place else for a buffet. Nothing super amazing about what they have other then the hibachi grill made to order dishes, the sushi counter(good!). The rest is basic Chinese buffet items. All average to above average as I see it. Several attempts to take Chinese foods and Americanize them with deep frying, breading, bacon wrapping etc. My heart skips beats just looking at it but I am sure it sells cause its always near empty. Peal and eat shrimp scores well with me. Egg drop soup is great here! You can eat well and healthy or you can splurge and have a coronary if you wish. It has enough selection for either objective. I eat here once a week I would say. Never been sick or anything like that.
