It goes without saying that for the most part a Subway is a Subway is a Subway or in other words, if you’ve been to one then you’ve been to them all and pretty much it takes a lot for a location to F-up the menu. Thankfully for me, this location for the most part did the chain proud. Rolled in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was deserted so immediately things are looking good. The college age looking sandwich artist was competent enough in terms of following along with what was needed on each lovely nitrate laden log. One thing that was a little on the yick was that upon further inspection as he was making the chow I noticed some luscious cross-contamination with a few slivers of turkey in with the provolone cheese and what looked like some tuna hanging out with the tomatoes. Thankfully I wasn’t ordering any of the above but it still makes you wonder about how much care this place takes about cleanliness or about not getting its customers sick. The sandwiches were made fast enough and they even had their crack-like addictive Broccoli Cheese soup de-thawed and ready so I got some of that to go as well. Not to bad with a door to door time of under ten minutes for two soups and three sandwiches. I’m not in the Columbia area often(actually it’s been more often than I care to mention this year) but with only so many food options around you could do worse than coming here as while it’s boring at the very least expectations are solidly met.
