I finished my treatment in 2008. I paid for my treatment myself as a young adult, so I was truly following every instruction from Dr. Robinson. After my treatment finished, I have worn my retainer every single night as instructed. Seven years later, I went to visit an orthodontist where I live now because my teeth have moved, even though I’ve worn my retainer every night as instructed. Teeth move, fine, I get it. But, the problem for me is that by wearing the retainer as instructed, my front teeth have moved down from their natural position. So, aside from the typical moving of the teeth(crowding), the problem now is that my two front teeth are far lower than where they were before, so when I smile my gums form a sort of U. This problem cannot be solved with invisalign, but only with wires. I’ve seen three doctors to confirm this diagnostic. All agree the retainer caused the problem. There is no other way. I am over 30 now and I truly never expected to have to wear wires at this stage. And that without considering the almost $ 5,000 I paid Dr. Robinson for my treatment in 2008 when I was in my twenties. Yes, the doctors and the staff are wonderful, but why did they mess up my front teeth by giving me a retainer that wasn’t properly made??? Now I have to wear wires again, in my 30’s! and I have to pay once again $ 3,000 to fix their mistake. I wish they would pay for their mistakes.

Dr. Ries himself is kind and professional, but unfortunately I can not say the same for his staff. The only hours that they are open is 8 – 5 M-F, which is inconvenient enough as I always have to request for time off of work in order to take my child there but the problem is exacerbated by the fact that nearly every time we are there we are seen by a different tech performing the work has made a mistake resulting in the need for a return trip– for example failing to put stoppers on the wire, cutting them the wrong length, failing to shut the bracket properly, etcetera. Add to that the woman in charge of billing is completely disrespectful and rude– repeatedly challenging what my insurance has agreed to pay to the point of being argumentative on numerous occasions because she thinks Delta Dental ISPAYINGTOOMUCH on my claim when«she’s been doing this for 20 years» …there is not much left to enjoy about the experience other than being happy when it is all over. Dr. Ries did take ownership of the situation and called me later, so I have adjusted this review to reflect that.

Awesome Orthodontists. Dr Ries took care of my niece and her teeth look fabulous! I cannot say more about this practice. They are ontime with appointments. She had braces and also has an invisalign retainer. She was out of braces in about 2 years. The assistants are really wonderful. I went to appointments with her and I couldn’t believe how nice they were. I remember getting braces and how bad it was, but that doesnt seem to be the case now. I would recommend these guys everywhere.
