This place is scary… Huge liquor aisles, tons of coolers stocked with any beer you could want. Chips and salsa options. Do not think that you are going to try and get cash from your purchase. You pay from what you put on the counter…

The Red Roof gas station is named that for exactly the reason you think, it is impossible to miss with that huge red roof! The station offers all three standard grades of fuel plus diesel on select pumps.
The station is always manned properly with enough help to cover most crowds. They offer just about everything you would want and expect from a gas station, plus a huge selection of wine and other alcohols. They also sell all IL lottery plus have a couple automated machines for self service. There is also an ATM available that dispenses in $ 10 increments, which I found unusual and could see it as potentially helpful.
One of the nicest things is that it is located immediately off of Route 3 but has no major traffic issues due to the design of the entrances. I recommend it highly over the Phillips 66 at the next light that doesn’t have enough parking or attendants usually.
