Worst hotel ever the pool was green rooms are dirty, woke up with bed bug bites. And the hotel smells only stayed because we were exhausted from long ride from ny.

My wife and I stopped here after a long ride from NY and it was the cheapest option, but it was disappointing. It’s an old Ramada and it is under remodeling. Rooms were dirty and incredibly dusty that I could barely breathe. We were offered the classic option with breakfast included, but at 8.30 am no one was serving breakfast and all the containers were cleaned up. Again: it was 8.30 am. Overall, staff was gentle and the Christmas tree in the hall was stunning. Besides that, I would never recommend this location.

This is an older Ramada location, but it seems to be keeping up with the other local hotels. I attend a gala style event here and I was surprised at the transformation of the space. The parking is decent. It seems like there is enough to accommodate guests. I’m not sure if the catering was in-house or through a local catering company, but the food for the event was good. I didn’t have a hotel stay here, so I’m not sure what the rooms look like or the service level. I think it’s a nice hotel for a meeting and a small event. It’s could be hard to find if you’re driving too fast, but it is conveniently located off I-20, which is great.

My girlfriend and I wanted to spend Valentines weekend in Columbia, and this was the cheapest hotel we could find online, now we know why… When we got there they didn’t have my reservation(because it’s converting into a Ramada from«The Granary»), the wifi and cable didn’t work, but the WORST thing by far was that I figured out our door didn’t lock from the outside(the keycard was useless). My girlfriend and I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. The ONLY redeeming quality was how nice the management was to us. We explained we didn’t feel safe and the manager agreed and waived the cancellation fee. So if you want to stay in Columbia for a reasonably priced hotel, pick somewhere else, or wait until they’ve finished the remodeling.
