Went there Sunday, May 15. Our waitress, Jennifer, was excellent. The buffet was not as good as it had been when we last visited. The fruit was mushy and since the tops were open it made things luke warm.

Had lunch today with my wife. Very mediocre. Service was good, food was not hot, sweet potato fries were cold and obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. The server brought fresh ones that were very greasy so that ended that adventure. My pork bbq was lukewarm but good, the squash casserole was the worst part of the meal, dark and cold. I ordered a margarita and… wait for it…$ 9.50. WTF? At Pucketts in Columbia Tennessee? I confess I paid those prices on Times Square in New York City but damn … anyway, these guys do a good business and their weekend breakfast buffet is pretty good and because of the volume it is fresh. Be aware that the prices are high on menu items, I think for the quality too high.

I had my wedding reception here, and I eat here semi-often. My wedding reception was absolutely perfect and gorgeous. Thank you pucketts staff for helping make it wonderful, and thank you for the great food!

Again!!! Same song different verse! 16 people for a 7 o’clock reservation. Sat at 7:10 which is no big deal. But didn’t get our simple appetizer until 45 minutes. Didn’t get our meal until 90 minutes later. No apology from the manager no one came by to tell us that there was some issues in the kitchen or whatever the excuse was. We went and«found» the the manager and asked her can she make this right since we were also paying a $ 10 cover per person on top of our meal ticket. The response was.. there is nothing she can do. Are you kidding me??? I know this is not how the Marshall family wants their restaurant ran. EDIT… After several conversations with the manager she did discount our tickets 50% which was very appreciated by our group.

Co-workers brought me for lunch when in town for business. Both times seated quickly and order taken promptly. I tried the Music City Hot Chicken Sandwich the first time and the Grilled Cheese and Bowl of Soup on the second. I would recommend both. The Hot Chicken was Hotter than I expected. I thought would fall in the Medium range for typical Hot Sauce but had much more kick. Only for the adventurous or those that like it really spicy. For the grilled cheese, you are given your choice of bread and cheese. I tried the Gouda on Country White. It was grilled to perfection. The Soup of the Day was Chili Mac(**helpful tip — you can ask to try if you are undecided**). Chili seasoning was just right. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was service on second trip was lacking. But I will definitely return.

Very good grub. I never left this place still hungry. I don’t feel like writing a book about this place. Just go there and pig out. You won’t be disappointed.

This is my first visit the the Columbia location. I am usually pleased with Pucketts food however their southern fried chicken was raw and had to send it back. It seems like this location lack some leadership in quality in its food and service was just fair. Maybe it was an off night for Puckett I do not know. The performance of Williamson Branch was excellent.

Puckett’s has a great family atmosphere. My boys and I had Sunday brunch there recently. It is located on historic square of Columbia, TN. That day they had a breakfast buffet that ran until 12:30pm. We skipped breakfast and went straight for lunch. I will first say as you probably expected Sunday lunch is a very popular time. Expect a 20 – 45 minute wait depending on when you get there. The servers worked very hard and were very polite. My boys had chicken tenders. They were lightly battered with good flavor and cooked perfectly. The French fries served with them were not cooked so good. They were soggy and cold. I had their pork BBQ platter. The pulled pork is smoked with good flavor. They offer on the table two sauces. Sweet and spicy. They taste awesome! My sides were green beans. They are southern style. Some of the best. Sweet potato fries were not very good. Same as the regular fries. They will need to take a look on how they do their fries. I hope to be in Columbia again to visit Puckett’s again.

Went here for a wedding reception — they have a HUGE room upstairs. Ambience was VERY nice. Servers were all nice — though my experience was not a typical one as we had food prepared buffet style. The bartender was super cool and knowledgeable. Food was good, nothing really special, but it was good barbecue and potatoes. Parking was easy, and it was an overall great place for a wedding reception. I would definitely like to visit again for a normal dinner and see what other options they have.

Had lunch there today. Been there several times and have always ordered the meat and three or meat and two lunch that’s offered. Food has been average or above average in those past visits. Today, my wife tried a salad for the first time(with grilled chicken) and she thought it was very good. She speculated that it would have been 3 or 4 dollars more in the Nashville/Cool Springs area for something similar. For the first time I tried a sandwich… the patty melt with fries. The patty melt itself was average… nothing great but typical of what you’d get at most restaurants. The fries that came with it are another matter. They were either oven baked or cooked in one of those hot air fryers… not fried in shortening as I was expecting. They quickly lost their warmth and were limp and unappealing. My suggestion is to skip the fries and substitute another side in their place !!!

We continue to come to Puckett’s in Columbia. The food and service has been excellent we usually sit at the bar at happy hour. Sabrina is the best bartender and a nice person. I usually get the Puckett’s brew for $ 1.15 at happy hour itch half priced appetizers. I do wish they would expand the appetizer menu with sliders and maybe a couple more things. We are looking forward to trying their new restaurant in Thompson’s Station when it opens. Puckett’s is also a good place for live music Friday and Saturday nights. It is my favorite place in the area to dine.

We had an amazing breakfast! I had the Texas Two Step which is the brisket hash over a cornbread waffle served with eggs. Just Amazing when you add your hot sauce or bbq sauce of your choice! Our server was funny and friendly on top of great service!

5 stars! No doubt! The food is usually pretty fantastic. The waitresses are usually pretty friendly and up beat(with the exception of one bad apple a time or two) but for the most part, this place is great for just about anything, food, liquor, family events EVENTHANKSGIVING!!! THEBARTENDERSAREPHENOMENAL! only downside I have to say is the cover charge on the weekends. –_– But the fact that they carry locally distilled(legal) moonshine from TennSouth is more than enough to cover that!

When arriving at the restaurant our estimated wait time was about 30 – 40 mins, we end of getting seated 10 mins after(party of two). We were greeting by Kyle Besaw he was our server for the night, he was such a kind & sweet southern gentlemen. The service was great, and the live band at 8pm was a hit. My boyfriend enjoyed their music a lot, it was his type of music. The mac & cheese with pulled pork was absolutely phenomenal. The shrimps & grits wasn’t as great as everyone said on Unilocal. It didn’t have very much favoring as you would expected. The appetizer fried greenbeans was on point, especially with the chipotle ranch dipping. Overall, it was a great experience. Everyone should check it out.

We truly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff was courteous. I would recommend Puckett to anyone. Tanya had ribs. She is tough critic of BBQ. But she really liked her dish. We brought some sauce to take home.

Lunch specials are great! We like to come here for lunch especially when we have business guests. Travelers are always looking for a local joint with great food and Puckett’s fits. They have fantastic lunch specials with meat and vegetables. I got the fried pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans on my last visit. One should always ask about the vegetable of the day before ordering. The food here has always been wonderful. This is one of my favorite lunch places.
