A minister I know refers to hospitalization as «being in the medical wilderness.» The Baptist seems to have all the typical problems with medical care but at least it was quiet and the staff were very nice. The entrance is actually a lot more convenient than other hospitals once you navigate the parking garage system. IMHO Hospitals everywhere need to designate a single person – medically trained-to coordinate hand-offs and communicate with the family. The current system requires staking out a watch all day in hopes of getting information.

Decent place to grab a sandwich before or after seeing the doctor. Service is swift.

I wish I could give them no stars. My mother went there with constipation. The hospital did a CAT scan and said her appendix was ruptured. The doctor cut her open and discovered they were mistaken. He removed it anyway. The nurse told my father the next day that it happens all the time and laughed about it.
