Saying this was the Mecca of my youth is an understatement. But it sold years ago and has since fallen from glory. Still probably the best place to buy used cd’s, DVDs, and new cd’s. Their new vinyl is a little pricey, and the used vinyl is pretty picked through. Maybe the casual vinyofile could find some good stuff. In Columbia, Papa Jazz is king of vinyl!

Went to pick up my record that was on hold until the end of the day and they were closed. It was 8:03. When I asked why they are closed they said they close at 8. But your website says you close at 9 and I drove all the way from Lexington I say. That hasn’t been updated in 4 years I was told. Come back tomorrow?

Being a DJ, vinyl Junkies. and just a plain music freak me and another spinner found this place years ago and have been slave to this place ever since ! All types of Vinyl, CD’s, DVD;s and if you search hard you cand find rare promo Vinyl and CD’s at real cheap prices. They buy used Vinyl and CD’s and DVD’s so it’s really a place for music lovers of all you must check it out yourself to judge it, so good music hunting.

I’ve heard Manifest has fallen on hard times these past few years, but let’s remember it for what it was in the glory days, shall we? Back in the late 90s & early 00s, Manifest was probably the only place in the city you could go to find a vast array of diverse, challenging music. Basically, the place you’d go to if you wanted to AVOID people on the hunt for Dave Matthews bootlegs. And I miss what it was to me back then, but truth be told, I have a new love & she’s better… Yup, Amoeba Music on Haight Street. I’m out in San Fran now, & this place puts Every Record Store In The World to shame.
