I’ve been nothing but pleased with Lenscrafters. I’ve read less than stellar reviews of this location, but I was delighted to find that they were totally inaccurate. Francesca proved herself to be a very knowledgeable and helpful salesperson, and displayed a great deal of patience while she helped me find the frames I liked. The frames came in and wound up irritating my ears, so I came in and got the earpieces adjusted by Susan, the store manager. She was very willing to help and remarkably patient as well. Finally, I realized that the glasses would need to be either replaced or drastically adjusted, and George (the glasses tech) was also extremely helpful in getting the earpieces replaced.
They’re expensive, but you pay for quality. I’m definitely going back there for future needs.

When I joined a vision benefits plan in July 2011, I began going to LensCrafters’ Columbiana Centre location in the Harbison/​Irmo area. Unfortunately, my most recent visit there (September, 2014) will be my last. I don’t live near that location, so I’ve made numerous attempts to keep in touch with the staff about my contact lens order (custom, Boston Lens RGP’s) by telephone. Sadly, I’ve lost confidence in the Staff of this location, who haven’t made it a priority to return my calls. This has been true throughout the month of September. Please note: If you call and the voicemail picks up (803−781−1669), don’t bother leaving a message; it’ll be ignored.
For those of you who choose to do business there, I hope you see some improvement.

Customer service leaves you wanting for more. I went for glasses and found that they were trying to pretend to give me a discount and then charging the normal price rates even with insurance so I went to jcp got the exact same thing for 300 less including my insurance of course. Beware shop around first
