Always amazing! This food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is amazing and I can’t think of a time when the owner wasn’t there to make sure everything was running smoothly. Definitely a great stmosphere for the 25+ crowd in historical Five Points. HIGHLY recommended for great food and well-prepared drinks.

I ate here last night and was VERY underimpressed. I was told to get the philly. They didn’t have it… I asked for a yeungling. THey didn’t have it. They said the only domestics they had were on the menu. I said ok, I’ll take a Mic Ultra. We don’t have that. I ended up with a Harp in a room temperature glass. My wife asked for a Mojito. It tasted like sugar water. Good sugar water but no alcohol flavor. Then she got an appletini. Maybe we’re just used to bars that aren’t as stingy with their booze? When we got to the point of ordering food We got their burger and the wife got the oyster po boy. No complaints on that and no brags either. They came with fries. Shoestring fries. We asked for honey mustard to dip them in. You guessed it. Nope. Then ranch. Nope. That’s my summary. All this being said the waitor was REALLY nice and an excellent waiter.

They have one of the dankest Phili cheese steak sandwiches I’ve ever had and I’m a Phili native. This place has a very French«pa le vu France» feel. Casual wine after work? Nice craft drafts this place is the spot.

This place has a sexy vibe to it. The art work has a cool, creepiness to it. The staff is cool and attractive and help to create an atmosphere that you’re someplace far from five points and transported to a Euro-style speak easy. I’d recommend visiting at a reasonable time before it gets crowded in the late evening.

Although I was confused by the set-up, it’s a nice space and place. I was disappointed that a customer had to fill me in about the daily specials instead of the wait staff, but… I’m glad they did. The crab cakes I had were delicious and they were not expensive. That is always a plus for me.

The restaurant choices are limited in Columbia so I’m always on the lookout for new options. I’m so thankful Unilocal led me to Goats. I am moving to a plant based diet and I love good craft beer. There were only two vegetarian options so I was nervous! However the farro salad was awesome. It was unlike anything I’d had before and I’m thankful to have been introduced!

Outstanding reincarnation of the old Goatfeathers in historic Five Points. They have taken it’s atmosphere, amazing desserts and added a small but exquisite dinner menu. Not the typical USC student hang out, caters to a more sophisticated customer. Recommend you give it a try, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Everything was amazing! Was with a group of 6, so we ordered nearly half the menu and it was all fantastic. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was outstanding. It’s a must if you are in the area.

Goat’s was a pleasant surprise. It caters to an older crowd(i.e. not college kids) in the 5 points. This is a nice bar with good drinks, great food, and good desserts. Only downside is that seating for parties of 5 or more is a little limited if you want to eat. There are two larger community style tables. Outside of that, most of the tables are small round 4 and 3 top tables. All in all, seating it a little on the tight side. The food was a real surprise. Our party ordered the buffalo fried oysters, mussels and frites, bibb salads, oyster po boy, burger, and the lobster mac and cheese. All were cooked well and very tasty. We also got desserts, which were fantastic. If you are looking for a casual but interesting menu, good drinks that aren’t overpriced, and a laid back atmosphere, Goat’s is a great place to go. We will for sure be back.

World class bar(you enter a truly different world), with world class FOOD(not bar food) at very reasonable prices by French cook — that most folks don’t know about. Opie, the owner, very cool and nice guy. Casual, yet classy. Eclectic crowd of all demographics. Definitely, NOT a 5 points undergrad hangout. Try the food — to die for! I’m Italian-Italian-American. See photos. Took older female friend who’s been traveled everywhere to Goat’s first time. Her quote: «Grazie! The environment and food was fantastic.»

I’m so glad that Goatfeathers was resurrected as the new and improved Goat’s! I popped by for dinner last week with a friend. We wanted to order everything on the menu but finally narrowed it down. Friend ordered the duck tacos and the philly cheesesteak. I ordered the beef bourguignon and the garlic frites. You get 2 duck tacos(kinda small) which friend thought were OK but the Philly cheesesteak was huge and the best cheesesteak I’ve ever tasted. I will definitely be going back for that soon. It came with a side of frites. My beef bourguignon was delicious and served with cubed sweet potatoes. I would recommend it as well. I’d probably pass on the garlic frites. They weren’t anything to write home about and there were definitely better apps on the menu. While I didn’t order a drink this time my friend ordered an old fashioned which came in a martini glass. The waiter said that was just how the bartender did it. Friend said it tasted good so who cares which glass it comes in? The restaurant/bar has been spruced up and there is new art on the walls. It’s definitely a swanky place to grab a drink(and that cheesesteak)!

Oh this place was so much fun to try out. We went a few nights ago, and it wasn’t crowded at all. I do hope to see more people next time. The menu was limited, but the food was absolutely amazing!!! I had the Beef Bourguigon and it was so delicious!!! Very tender meat served with sweet potatoes hash. Great choice! I’d easily get it again. I love how the place is decorated. Looks really cool! I’m looking forward to coming again. Great food! I would like to see more of a selection. Counting down the days until I can return… I will return!

First time visiting this place since the reopening and I was impressed. They had a great beer selection which my girlfriend and I always enjoy. I ordered a stuffed quail for my entrée over pasta and it was wonderful, but I was disappointed with how small the serving size was and no food specials on a Saturday night was a little odd to me. Will return though!

This has always been my favorite spot in Columbia. It started as Goatfeather’s and had evolved into Goat’s. This spot is a classic. Be ready to spend some time when you get here, and try the food. The cocktails are the best in all the land, and the French chef is fabulous.

First came to this establishment over 30 years ago as GoatFeathers; a super cool coffee, cognac, dessert place to go. Having returned to USC for a game and wanting to travel memory lane in Five Points, so happy to see GoatFeathers still there! Once inside, ambience the same, but new name as Goats, new owner and an apparently renewed effort to revitalize the once super cool spot. Greeted by the new owner, an engaging and involved entrepreneur/restauranteur, the vibe is still cool, but also reenergized. Very nice selection of wines and spirits. Excellent menu choices and well priced. We chose the crab pops, buffalo fried oysters and duck tacos to share for the two of us. Plenty to eat and all equally delicious in their own right. Loved Goats and will most definitely return when back in town as this place is a treasure to five points!

Formerly known as Goat Feathers Opie has made Goats into his own establishment by adding a new menu and changing some of the ways the restaurant used to look. I haven’t asked him directly if he is the owner but it seems to be the case. I’ve only been able to try two dishes so far but they were very tasty and put together. The duck poutine and the pesto mussels go well with one of many of their signature drinks. When I’m here I mainly sit at the bar for quicker service and friendly conversation. As always be have patience when trying a new place as it takes time to get everyone running on all cylinders. Just so glad Five Points has added Goats and not another chain restaurant, it adds to the flavor of are city.
