This used to be a great place to shop 20 plus years ago, sadly now it’s just a shell of it’s former self. Now with Belk leaving next month all that is left are a few local small interior shops, Burlington, Office Depot, AMC theater and a Planet Fitness. The mall itself still looks good and is well maintained. Honestly doesn’t make sense why this mall should not thrive considering it’s location to downtown, Colonial Life and tons of apartments and homes. Another plus for this mall is it has never had the reputation of being unsafe like Columbia Mall on Two Notch.

I just wanted to leave a review saying that the Chickfila is closed… one of the best stores that remained in the mall. I do go to the movie theater a lot only because it is: 1) cheap, only five bucks before 12 on weekends and some other time during the week; and 2) it’s the closest one to my house. The movie theater isn’t too bad and is definitely the only reason to go to this«mall». There’s an entrance on the side so you don’t have to go through the mall at least. I often go to Harbison though if I want a 3D movie or want to impress someone/go on a date.

Overall the«mall» is horrible. Very few shops, the food court is unfulfilling, an I’m scared to see what the inside of the AMC theatre might look like. I guess if you are in a rush and don’t care too much about what u are buying… sure this is the spot.

For non-«urban» shoppers, there is a Chick-fil-A and a Belk and a few other things. This mall is straight out of the 1970s and it seems to do a good business– probably the«urban» shoppers don’t want to drive all the way to Columbia Place, which is ghetto-er.
