Instant mashed potatoes. Instant gravy mix. Enough said when the «chef» doesn’t even care enough to boil potatoes

Echoing what many others have said; kinda looks like a place that wasn’t remodeled since Smokey was chasing the Bandit,…but its clean! That’s not a bad thing, frankly, I love it! I get sick of the pretentious restaurants routinely aiming high and falling short. This place has GREAT food, good friendly service, with super prices! Get the prime rib au jus, you will NOT be disappointed.

I have not been here in years, but that’s because last time I came in, I had a horrible experience. Tonight, much better. However, this place only get’s a 4 for one reason.
When I got my Cherry Coke, it tasted like cough syrup. That already lost points. But the meal made up for it. Good Corn Nuggets, good Fried Chicken and Fries Basket, but they charge for refills, so I wouldn’t recommend getting refills on sodas. But I do recommend the Chicken Basket, even if you get the tenders version, it’s still a good deal. If I get a chance to come back, I will.

A great place, off the beaten path but awesome food

i had the best turkey club sandwich of. my. life. here this past weekend. turkey was from a bird they roasted that day, contained dark and white meat, and was moister than if i had made it myself. this place just never fails to disappoint. service and food are always great!
edit update from 2÷19÷15 — went here recently and the creekside still has really great food and service. only note is about tipping. you can still pay with a credit card, but they no longer give you the option to put the tip on your card. you have to use cash! we are of the «cashless generation» and felt really terribly bad that we could not give our server a dime of tip money! so lady with the long blond/​redish hair you are a great server and next time we will bring double cash! stinks that the owner is more concerned about taxes and him/​her making out on that than with the fair pay of the employees.

Not much to look at, but this place is a hidden gem with some really great bar food. I suggest the tips & toast or the prime rib sandwich. Good fries too. Go for «oldies prices night» on Wednesday for some great deals.
