Best produce in town, period. So fresh. Great garlic!!! Every year, they have delicious organic chestnuts in the fall. And omg @ the apple cider vinegar and sea salt cashews!!! Delicious!!! I love how they have different items in the bulk section from what they carry in the Broadway store.

Ok, I wanted to like Clover’s(see prev. review), but compared to Natural Grocer’s or Hy-Vee Health Market, it’s similar but more expensive. Also, some of the bulk things may seem better, but we found some bugs in our yellow split peas… tried to salvage it once(and I foolishly thought it worked), but there were even more when I looked again. But: 1) in-store-ground organic peanut butter is great and good price; 2) organic fresh fruit selection I often like more than NG/HV(and our farmers market has very little in the way of organic fruit).

Fresh food selection pretty limited, but found a vegan raw tart I had only seen in Salt Lake City, and a Quorn entrée I had not yet found in CA. Some of the items available were more expensive than what I pay locally, but that may be due to not as large a demand. I am very grateful to be able to shop here when I am in Columbia.

Clovers has all that I find in the natural foods stores where I live in CA, plus more. The local, organic produce, the extensive supplements/vitamin area, and the tea/reading room annex are welcome when I visit this area. It’s worth a 40-minute drive to stock up on the bulk items(many bins at the rear of the store) and the wide selection of canned and frozen organics, too. Staff have always been friendly and helpful, calling the east broadway store if necessary to find a product for me. Why not 5 stars? Price.

They have everything from vitamins and natural remedies to organic produce and soy items. Their staff are friendly and nice. Prices are higher than the grocery store, but that’s expected at this type of store.
