Love Ana! She’s the best hairstylist I’ve ever had and the only consistent stylist I’ve ever come across. Plus she’s so freaking nice and chatting with her is easy, relaxed and never feels forced like it can with other stylists. (I once stopped going to another Vista salon b/​c the stylist complained the whole time about her life, the job, etc. I get having a bad day, but unfortunately you are in the service industry — you’ve gotta fake it some days lady!)
Anywho, Cline’s has given me great haircuts and I’ve seen 3 of their staff members but Ana is my absolute favorite. I won’t book with anyone else now.
The only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because they are pricey. (But really, if you get a great consistent cut with a stylist that listens, it’s pretty much worth it.)

There is seriously no better salon in Columbia than Cline’s and Ana is the absolute BEST! After seeing my new look (s), my best friend went to see her, and she made her hair even more fabulous than before (no exaggeration). Because her hair looked so great, one of her friends went to see Ana (if that’s any indicator of the magic she can work on your hair).
I’ve been looking at a lob (long bob) for quite some time, and finally made the leap. I couldn’t be happier! I’ve received so many compliments and it’s only been a few days. She also helped me transition my ombré into a more chocolate brown color for the fall. There is so much dimension, I swear it’s getting better every day! I don’t even know how that’s possible.
She made my hair look fabulous, and I KNOW she can do the same for you. Just show her or tell her what you want and it will be done.
You won’t regret your decision in coming to Clines, especially if you request Ana.
The salon is tucked away in the Vista and is super cute and eclectic. The front desk staff is also very accommodating and friendly.

If you need you hair/​makeup done for a wedding or other special event, this is the place to go! I came here for bridesmaid hair & makeup before my friend’s wedding, and I was looking pretty haggard after a long 2 days of traveling and waking up with food poisoning. But Britney whipped my hair into a gorgeous up do that was soft and romantic. Then she did a fabulous make up job, covering up some serious dark circles and a blemish with such expertise that they were seriously invisible when she was done. I also thought the cost was very reasonable. I left feeling so much better and looking fantastic!

I moved back to Columbia over 2 years ago and had been driving back to Charlotte getting the best hair color/​cuts I’ve received in all my life… but got tired of my go-​to hair expert being so far away… I came across Cline’s Salon Vista through a Google search and after having a sense of calming come over me after viewing the website, I was willing to trust Tammy with my hair.(despite there being so many great reviews about ALL the stylist). When I entered the salon, it was very relaxed and I was offered hot tea which was nice. I told Tammy that I was trying to grow my hair out and complained to her about stylist never really understanding what a «trim» is. I knew I was going to love my hair when she finished, but I had no idea I would love it as much as I did. She TRIMMED exactly what I asked her to, no more. My hair looked so amazing. And she just has a way with people, she was so sweet and personable. I left feeling like a princess and very inspired.
I left the review above on Google reviews 5 months ago and 3 haircuts and one balayage coloring with Tammy… I have never been so happy with my hair. She is truly a blessing! I have always been nervous about getting my hair done until Cline’s Salon Vista, it’s a very relaxing experience.

This is by far the best salon I have ever been to! Kristin is the best and I no longer live in Columbia, I actually live in Los Angeles, California and every chance I have I make an appt to see her when I am in town! I wish I could go to her every time I needed a hair cut! I love Cline’s Salon Vista! She executes perfectly everything I ask for when I go see her!!!

Aveda salon? Check. Cute décor? Check. Friendly staff? Check. Satisfactory hair cut? Absolutely not.
I went in with high expectations and came out a little pissed off. I told them what I wanted and what I didn’t want, and unfortunately, when I was finished, it looked exactly like i didn’t want. I think she had good intentions, I really do. I would not go back; however, I think she would do a fine job on someone else, just be sure that when you explain what you want done she repeats it back to you verbatim because to be honest, she seems a bit flighty.
