This could possibly be one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in my life. Dirty linens and bugs in the room sealed the deal for a one star rating.

If you’ve ever wanted an occasion to use the famous Bette Davis line, «What a dump!» then a stay at this hotel will provide you with an opportunity. They are building a new facility next door and have obviously decided just to let this one go into free-fall while work is going on. Where to enter the building is unclear, the parking lot felt a bit dicey, the front desk seemed relatively disinterested, employees’ children were playing in the lobby and stopped to stare at us, the place seemed unvaccuummed during our entire stay, the elevators are slooooow, broken furniture in the elevator lobby on our floor, dark entryway in the room, a dilapidated bathroom that was relatively dark, maybe not quite clean, had a broken toilet seat and no toilet paper on the holder, a noisy air conditioner, a mattress pad that did not quite fit the bed, a broken desk lamp, wifi service that was slooooow and that we had to ask about b/c there is no info about it, curtains that didn’t close all the way to block out the bright street lights right outside our window…

Do not stay here. Pros: –Pet Friendly –Jacuzzi tub –Large suite Cons: –Dead bugs all over the floor –Smelled awful –TV didn’t work –Internet didn’t work –Heater/AC was insane –Overpriced for cheap motel quality It took them forever to find our reservation. Turns out it’s in the system differently because they put us outside in the motel section, which is not cheaper, btw. We were just happy it was pet friendly since we are traveling with a rabbit. We got to the room and it was huge, but despite being a non-smoking room, it smelled like a moldy ashtray. There were dead bugs on the edges of the room. It looks like it has been a while since it was occupied. We were happy to see it has a jacuzzi tub, but we could not get the AC to blow cold air without doing random combinations until it was cold. Half the outlets didn’t work either. I finally went to the front desk when the TV didn’t work, but they didn’t have maintenance on site. No alternative was offered, we’d just have to live with it. I had to ask for the WiFi password, which lied, «Free high speed internet throughout property!» None of our devices could get a strong enough signal to connect from our room. Defeated, I went to sleep and decided that I’d complain at checkout since it was past midnight. When I did that, I was informed that they misquoted my price when I booked it and instead of $ 140, it was $ 165. I honestly wouldn’t have booked it if it was that high. They offered to lower it back to the price that was quoted to me, but nothing else was offered for all the issues I had. Do not stay here.

We checked in around 7pm and the front entrance was already locked?! The parking lot is dark and not well lit, which was confusing since there is an active construction site on the property. The woman at the front desk was friendly once we FINALLY got there. Our door handle on the room was broken, even when locked it was slack on the outside. So to get in the room you had to jiggle it. The room smelled of musky carpet and all of the furniture in the room was damaged; so much so that we couldn’t use our dresser. We got the room for just under $ 100 and that was way too much. Very disappointed to say the least.

I had a double birthday party to go to last night and to avoid sleeping on the floor we opted to get a hotel room. I saw some of the reviews on here and got really nervous about my stay but I was surprised. There was actually a beauty competition going on at the time I stayed as well so my trip was also full of sequins and fluffy dresses, ha ha. I liked the hotel and didn’t have any problems. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and I didn’t have any improper billing issues. There is a full bar downstairs and a restaurant too which is nice as well. I will say the internet is annoying to get in to but I wasn’t at the hotel long enough to worry about that much. Plenty of parking too and no problems with the AC. Actually, the AC worked so well I had to run it down because it was too cold. That is impressive considering it is summertime in the south! Good hotel, I’d stay here again.

This hotel was disgusting. There was mold on the ceiling in the main room as well as the bathroom. We asked to switch to another room and there was mold in it as well.

Booked a room for the LSUUSC game. Once the flood hit and the game was possibly getting moved I called in and spoke to the front desk, who said I had until Thursday afternoon to cancel my room with a refund. Game was moved on Wednesday at 11:30AM and I called to cancel, and was told the policy now changed and no cancellations will happen. Mentioned what I was told, and was given the managers number. Well the manager is not in the office and no one knows when she will return. This is unacceptable! You cannot change your corporate policy. I will never book at this hotel again and would highly recommend no one else does either. The customer service has been all over the place, and no one seems to want to help.
