Cheapest Computer Fix

I went to Cheapest Computer to get my cracked laptop hinge fixed. I was told that they could do it but they’d need to order the part from oversees so it’d take about 2 weeks to come in. 3 weeks later I’m still waiting to hear from them (never called me back) so I call and I’m told that they have the part. I drop off my laptop and I kept calling Gary to see when they’d finish, about every 2 days. They end up keeping my laptop for 2 weeks and tell me that they can’t fix it. Why did they lie and tell me that they had the part??? Why did they keep my laptop??? Completely UNPROFESSIONAL. I got my diagonstic fee refunded ($ 60) and took back my laptop. Avoid this business if you can. I went to Hackers Ink and they fixed my laptop in a week AND they were cheaper. It was $ 120 at «Cheapest Computer» and $ 69 at Hackers Ink.

Cheapest isnt always best i assume. I saw their add online so i thought 125 to repair a cracked ipad 2 screen would be a good deal. I went to drop it off and was told there was a diagnosis fee also. 35 dollars to tell me the screen is cracked? I said no, i would take it somewhere else. He said he could waive the fee. I said i guess so. Soon there after a technician called to say it would be an additional 60 dollars to repair the ipad. I am not sure what he replaced and you dont get an itemized receipt or anything like that. They said 3 to 4 days, it took almost two weeks. The technician also forgot to leave the ipad sleeve, so i had to go back to puck it up. He forgot again, and i want able to get it prior to a scheduled trip. With in 24 hours the screen started to come unglued. After i got back i took ipad back to be reglued. I was told 24 hours an it took 5 days. I had to call them constantly the whole time. The hours are not good. Customer service is lacking, and quality of work is also not very good.

I dropped off my laptop to get the screen fixed, it was done at a very reasonable price. I told them I needed it by the 6^th and they had it done by the 2^nd. My laptop works fine and I have no complaints!

Gary did a good job in fixing my computer. He fixed it fast and charged me a fair price. Other places I called wanted me to replace the whole motherboard which cost up to $ 500 to fix. Gary answered all my questions. The office hours are a little inconvenient for those who work (open 3−6pm) though.
