Sonic Drive-In

It had been a few years since my last visit to Sonic as our first experience was bad. I went this time because they had a special on their burgers and thought I would give them another chance. Service was fast enough but the burgers were overlooked and dry. I also ordered mozzarella sticks and they were ok. Nothing to write home about. My kids and husband refuse to return there.

I’ve been sitting at the drive through window for more than 5 min. One worker is leaning on the counter and texting. I didn’t know a chicken strip sandwich and tots was so hard to make at noon!

Negative star if I could. I didn’t even get to order. Just left there like 30 minutes ago.
Sooo… I decide to try Sonic for the first time ever. Drove up to the drive through, which was empty. Saw only 4 cars in the little stalls. Guy on the mic says «hold please.» So I did, plus I was still looking through the menu. No problem. 10 minutes pass by. I hear nobody on the mic. I yell (softly) hello? No problem, I’m pretty patient. Another 3 minutes go by, still nothing. I yell «hello» again, this time a little louder. Intercom was still quiet. I should mention a car was behind mine by now. So I look at the guy and say no one’s there, then I left. Shortly after I left and was stuck at a stop light, I see the same car behind me. Guess no one came to the mic for him either… AVOID THIS PLACE!

Slowest service ever and rude. They also told me they were closed when the sign out front said open and the website also said they were open.

I used to like this location but not anymore. Messed up orders, forgetting drinks etc.
Went today, online says they are open until 10:30, we go there at 10:00 and they wouldn’t serve us, they said they close at 10:00. So not sure if online is wrong or if they just didn’t want to work. Lame.

I love Sonic. However, this particular store, not so much. They made my ocean water with club soda, not Sprite. I asked for no cheese, no onions, but all of the condiments. I got a cheeseburger with onions and only ketchup. We ordered 2 juice boxes but one was without a straw. And to top it all off, my kids did not receive a toy or treat with their kids meal, but a coupon for a free ice cream cone that expired last year! Don’t stop eating at Sonic, just stop eating at this one. I gave it 2 stars for the nice guy who was working the drive through window. That’s all it has going for it.

I love Sonic for fast food. I got the blue raspberry slush. I like the slush drinks because they last. Cheddar poppers are my weakness here. I like the burgers and how they wrap them. I won’t get the super thick shakes too often, and didn’t this time, kind of hard to handle. I went to use the bathroom and the door was locked. They forgot about it when they opened, also didn’t notice that the toilet seat handle was broken off. I like this location because it’s part of the hood, and they have a lot of shade.

3 strike’s your out !, if you like cold food and dried buns this place is for you, i have been to sonic 3 times sense they have opened and the same cold meat inside dry stale buns

I had a great experience at sonic this week on national popcorn day! Used a buy one get one happenings coupon and they also honored the .99 popcorn chicken special as well. Food came quick, was fresh and the employees are really friendly. I felt like I should have tipped them for bringing my food out in –10 degree weather. Are you supposed to? Thanks Sonic!

Stopped here on a rainy day and for my first Sonic experience, I have to say I was very pleased! And for the price, I can’t complain. For three people getting combos it was under $ 20. Compared to other fast food restaurants, this was a good deal. Our food came out just a few minutes after we ordered! I will come back for sure when I’m in the area!

I don’t normally eat the food but I love the drinks. So far I haven’t had any problems with the drinks or food. It is fast food so keep that in mind I you do get food. I was very happy to finally find a sonic in MN where I’m from originally they are plentiful so it was nice to be able to grab a drink when I was in the area

They do not honor the .99 DAILY Specials like other Sonics. Boycott! Greedy Owners!

When we went here there was a power outage, so I took this in consideration when reviewing Sonic. Yes, I did rate it as a 1 star.
I can understand that things happen that is outside of their control. The power outage was one of them. They seemed fairly organized regardless and were well staffed to handle the situation. They had a person directing traffic and also one to take orders at the drive through. Kudos on their part for this good organization.
The food: I ordered a couple Jr hamburger kids meals with apples slices and milk for the kids and I ordered a Texas toast sandwich. We ended up getting a couple cheeseburger kids meals minus the apple slices or any side. Luckily they didn’t screw up my sandwich ;) If there is one thing I can not stand at fast food places is the complete lack of a double check in the drive through. There should be no excuse for messing up and yet I see it happen so often.
My sandwich was good, but the fries were not. I don’t like my fires soggy. It was almost like baking frozen fries and pulling them out of the oven too early when they are still wet. These also tasted like frozen fries.
While we ate, we wondered why the kids weren’t eating their cheeseburgers, even though they were very hungry. So we tasted it and wow! (not in a good way) These had to be the worst cheeseburgers we have tasted. Absolutely loaded with mustard and the meat was flavorless. (probably why they put so much mustard on it).
In short, we ordered, order went unfulfilled. The food sucked that they gave us and we will go to Taco Bell right next door (which had power), next time we want to grab a bite to eat.

On a business trip near Minny, I got really excited when I was driving down Central and saw a Sonic’s! I told my co-​worker we had to go there for dessert after dinner. I know there are a few of these located in southern California, but they’re a bit far from L.A. and I just simply had never been to one. I was too full from dinner so I just ordered a hazelnut java chiller. It was pretty good but I guess I was expecting more. A lot of options and old school setup with the walk up service is cool… nothing seemed special other than that but I guess fast food is fast food.

Im not a big fast-​food fan, but when I saw crowdcut had a coupon for sonic, I thought Id give this place a try. I had no idea that sonic doesnt have any places to sit inside, but they only have drive-​in and drive-​thru. Their burgers were actually pretty nice, and I really like how they have tatter tots option if you dont care for fries. Their fresh fruit smoothies were also a nice touch.

I have been to this Sonic a few times. The burgers are good. Better than many of the other fast food places. I do not care for their French fries and I am not a fan of tatter tots. I have only used the drive thru and never parked. I have never had to wait very long and service has always been quick.
