This place was an awesome surprise off of 30. My husband, being a truck driver, needed to find a place to shut down with an hour left. We were originally gonna truck on down to the Fort Wayne Pilot, but then I did some research and found a truck stop with a bar right next door. We didn’t have to deliver until Monday morning and it’s a Friday night, so we figured, why not? This place is great. It’s not a hole in the wall, but it’s not too big either, being outside the city and all. First of all, we got a Bud Light pitcher for $ 6, which was awesome since the drafts are $ 3 each. We got the sampler appetizer plate, which came with waffle fries, fried cheese curds, onion rings, jalapeño poppers, and breaded mushrooms for $ 7.99, and opted to add 4 boneless wings for a dollar. Definitely worth the price and was awesome. With it being a weekend, they had a live country band, which was awesome as well. This place is definitely worth the stop!

Travel to this area frequently for business at the steel mill next door. Never have had a bad experience. Food is typical American bar and grill food. Prices are not bad and the pizza is actually pretty good. I am used to eating Chicago pizza, so my expectations are pretty high anywhere else I travel and they are not usually met. This pizza probably gets a 7 out of 10. Other burgers and sandwiches we have had have been pretty decent as well. I believe it is 18 years and older only because there is smoking allowed.

Best part? Its next to a TRUCKSTOP!!! Since I am a trucker that was Perfect! The place is clean, the staff friendly and the beer cold! Place was very busy it was a Saturday AND St. Pattys Day! Lots of bikers hang here along with yuppies too place is very diverse… The food was GOOD, I had the Lasagna & garlic cheesy bread YUMMY! That and a couple of Coronas on a Saturday when I was shut down… PRICELESS :)

Local bar, some live music, older crowd. This is part of a building with a Subway at the end. The service was slender, could be that it was because I was not a local. Seemed like everyone knew everyone. I went to see a local artist who did not show up. Ordered«beer battered» pork tenderloin. After the order, waiter came back and said they didn’t beer batter anything any more. So, went with fried. Asked for the best bourbon they had, he didn’t know what they had so I went with Maker’s. Sandwich was good, tater tots were«loaded,» that was interesting. Had about 12 tots. One cup of soda and had to ask the water three times for my check. I don’t think I will return for a 2nd chance.
