Large portions and very tasty. The price is affordable. Definitely coming back here again.

I found this place thru Unilocal and decided to try it and compare to other Filipino cuisine restaurants i’ve been to. As i walked in, my 1st impression was its very ‘homey’ as filipinos get. I walked over to the food counter to see what i will order but no one was attending the food. Waited for about a minute then this lil lady came out from the back. I decided to order the 2 item combo and got lechon kawali and a bbq stick. The food was overall good, greasy like i expected it but flavorful. Its priced a lil better comparably to other Filipino joints. I gave this 3stars cuz of the slow service in th beginning and food selection.

This is a pretty decent filipino restaurant in this area. The food is good and affordable, we usually go to wescovina or LA for good filipino food, but this restaurant was good.

Hours are completely wrong. Just drove out here because I had a craving and when I came in the lights were dim and the lady on her phone who didn’t look up said… «only catering.» And the young man who was there stating only catering as well. Soooo… I guess they aren’t open for normal business hours on Saturdays.

Upsetting .the food is bland. lechon was dry and hard .$ 8.99 for some dried food is not worth it. will NOT be going back ! I rather drive to Rancho where they have tasty Filipino food

It was an okay place. The price was decent and they give you a lot of food. The only thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t really have a lot of options. But if you want good service and quick filipino food, this the place go!

Quite simply, this little diner offers good Filipino fast food in the midst of Colton. Who knew I would find this family owned joint here. I am pleased they have roasted pork. I generally satisfy my roasted pork cravings in the SGV but glad to know I can swing in here when I don’t fancy the long drive to the civilized world for good Asian food

This place has improved so much ! the new owner did a good job revising the menu. Halo-halo ingredients are homemade which is suppose to be from a good classic halohalo recipe not from the jar !!! I hope they will maintain good authentic filipino food!

This place is hidden in a small strip mall. Food was good and staff was pleasant. Price was reasonable too. TV is on the Tagalog channel for your enjoyment.

Tried their lechon today, OMG. Had to add an extra star just for that dish alone. They don’t always have it, but I got lucky today. The ladies who work here are sweet and they load up on the food, especially if you’re a regular. One of my favorite places for lunch nowadays.

Yummy shanghai rolls and lechon kawali. Too bad the owner sold the place to someone else.

During my nursing school days, I would come here sometimes for lunch with one of my Filipina homegirl who introduced me to this place. It’s like a fast-food express restaurant, ones that reminds of you a Chinese restaurant, except Filipino– Anyways, I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars. I forgot what some of the dishes I ordered were called, but I remember the pancit, that beef stew thing, and I forgot what else it was… But anyways. All in all, their food is REALLY bland. Like… I hear so much about how Filipino food is amazing. And I know it is, NOW. But since that was pretty much my first time actually eating Filipino food. I was like. What? Does it always taste this plain? I guess it’s just this peculiar restaurant. OH, and the portion and servings they gave out was really small too. You really expected me to pay about 7 bucks for a box of food that didn’t even fill up the whole thing? No. BUT when my homegirl ordered a tray of lumpia for a Christmas party at school, I’ll admit. That was really good. And it was actually flavorful, surprise surprise! Along with the sauce I’m sure they made, just wonderful. So all in all, this place is gettin a 3. I wouldn’t come here to order off their steam trays thing, but if I were to order something… just maybe, MAYBE I’d come here.

I am giving this place 4 stars because I liked the service and how it’s close to my place. The decorations are nice too. I wanted to give the place 3 stars because I asked for an off menu arrangement(longsilog) and it wasn’t what I expected. There was garlic rice, but it was more fried rice. There were eggs on it but they were sort of burnt. I only got 2 pieces of longanisa as well. At least 3 would’ve been awesome. Anyway, I might come back, but not for any silog because I don’t think they’re well equipped and ready for it.

My coworkers wanted pancit for birthday potluck(Luncheon). Since Banig Restaurant is far from my work, I decided to give this place a chance. I was informed by the lady here that their pancit is supposedly very popular and taste very good. So I ordered small tray of pancit for $ 40(see pic). In Banig restaurant, that would have been only $ 30. Co-workers thought the pancit was good but I personally think it was just okay, a little bland. I must be picky but I prefer my pancit with lots of meat. This one was more veggies than meat. And for $ 40(small tray), I expected a little more in quality(esp. after the lady was bragging about it).

I was driving to Joshua Tree NP and hadn’t eaten all day. I decided to take a chance on Manila Food Express because it was on the way and right off the freeway. Unfortunately, I’d have to say the place is pretty meh. Perhaps I just hit them at a bad time. Sure, the service was very friendly, but the food availability was very slim pickings and didn’t look all that appetizing. I settled on chicken adobo and mungo. The adobo tasted pretty good, but I’ve definitely had better. The mungo was slightly better. It tasted just like it should i.e. just like I’ve had it at home or at my relatives’ places. I can’t complain too much. I left with a full stomach, but I have to be honest. I can’t say I can recommend this place.

Whenever im too tired to cook my own flip food, i just drive down to this cute place and order the pork adobo combo with rice and pancit! I also like this vegie medley they have with squash and greenbeans. with all the other good stuff! The price is very reasonable and the service is fast… LOL to the people who say if your not filipino, they are rude«WHOCARES» .(by Unilocalers saying that it totally discourages non flipinos from coming here or to anyplace to try our countrys delicious cusine)…anyways the food is yummy and it will defitnitley satisfy your filipino food cravings. i also want to try thier breakfast one of these days. and the halo halo. hmmmm

I am pretty picky about my Filipino food. The only kind of Filipino food I am 100% satisfied with is my mom’s home cooking. When it comes to restaurant-bought food. I rarely find a Filipino restaurant I like. This place. I like. The food is really tasty and almost close to my mom’s homemade stuff. There are times when their mongo is rather bland. and their foods have an inch layer of fat on it. but it’s still really good. One star was taken away because they don’t serve Sinigang all the time. and that is what I look for when ordering in all Filipino restuarants. The serving size is pretty filling. The best thing is that they’ve got TFC playing on their Tv. and they stock lots of Filipino goodies next to the register so I don’t have to go to the local Asian store to buy goodies when it’s already there. I usually go during lunch because its really close by and the people there are friendly. Very much recommended!

This is total home style Filipino cooking! They have a small tray line of food but even though I got there at 1pm, their breakfast sounded so good and the owner was more than happy to accommodate. I had the fresh-ordered eggs, beef steak and fried rice… all for the low price of $ 4.99!!! It was the BEST beef steak I’ve ever had… it was more of the likes of Korean bbq — it was so dang flavorful! I also had a side of their green beans w/ground beef and that too, was scrumptious!!! My bro had the potatoes and beef from the buffet line and it was super tasty too! They also serve Goldilocks pastries in their fridge and various snacks to go. Sucks that this place is so damn far from me! More of a reason to visit my folks, I guess!
