We went here for my boyfriends birthday. The drinks and food were good but the service was not. Upon sitting down our waitress side eyed our service dog and then proceeded to say «I’ll need to see if your dog can be in here.» Um what? Please train your staff to not be stupid about service dogs. She went to ask and then told us it was ok (duh or we would have a while other problem with this restaurant) and took our order. The entire rest of our evening felt ackward and I was extremely upset and trying not to start an argument with the waitress.

The food was ok. We ordered steak frites and got cut up steak with fries (not frites). The flavor was pretty good and the quality of meat was average. This is a hotel bar setting with average food. The butter was waxy with little flavor.
Our kids got Mac and cheese (out of the box) and chicken fingers (a bit over fried). Apple Cider came out of a packet.
There are better places to eat in Colorado Springs. We chose this place because our kids are young and we were staying at this hotel. The total bill was $ 70 for two kids meals and two adult steak frites. I probably wouldn’t go there again unless I didn’t feel like driving anywhere with the family.

Menu keeps getting worse and more expensive. Hard to find anything to order we used to being people here to eat but we are pretty much done. The chef must think he’s very sophisticated. The new cheese tray is awful. The burgers are over priced. Weird sauces and toppings. The hatch cover across the street is a much better choice for food.

Great view and large gathering spaces. The burger was pretty good. The white wine sangria was predictably too sweet and undrinkable. Can’t believe the poor quality of the fruit in the drink given that fresh strawberries and blueberries are plentiful this time of year. Maybe not in this region?
Service was fine. Nothing spectacular if you subtract the view.
