Good food, pretty consistent for VI. My waitress however never once looked me in the eye and was very brief with me despite there being very few people there.

Went a couple of weeks ago. The nice thing is the people make the difference. VI’s operating procedure seems to be to under-staff every location. Our server was new and admitted this but was so friendly and paid special attention to our kids. The poor guy had 15 tables+ to take care of but did a fantastic job of it. I wish I could remember his name because I want recommend him to corporate for a heroic job of dealing with a busy dining room and still being nice about it. Food was mediocre but you get what you pay for. Hire some servers!

What a difference a few weeks make, well that and 60 miles. Came to this location on a BUSY Sunday morning, surrounded by hotels and a full parking lot. Thought I would regret the decision. Party of four seated immediately, Courtney took our drink orders immediately and came back for our orders at the perfect time. Restaurant was clean, staff was great!

A blast from the past. These were our hang-outs in high school and after the bars. Service was excellent and food was fabulous. Only passing through town but was a great memory.

Great food, prices are decent and the people are plesant! I love how willing they are to work with my allergy, its such a rare allergy, and they even checked the ingredients lists on everything I ordered to make sure it wasn’t in there! I will be going out of my way to go here for now on!

The service is amazing, the foods is consistent, and they are so accommodating!!! Lorenzo(asst. manager) runs the restaurant like a mom and pop shop, and he always treats us like family.

I was a bit skeptical. When I think of Village Inn, I think of «shabby» and not-good food. I was pleasantly surprised. Both my dining partner and I ordered custom preparation. They delivered excellent food and with our orders made correctly. My dining partner had a big burger and it looked fabulous. I ordered the strawberry crepes and they were to die for. Took away one star because there was no one there to greet us or seat us when we arrived and we had to wait for a few minutes, even though the place wasn’t busy. And, the bathrooms are shabby and desperately need to be remodeled.

Stopped in looking for a large breakfast, Boy oh boy did they deliver. Got everything I wanted for a very cheap affordable price also the service was very quick even though they did seem short staffed. Would recommend stopping in to see what this place is all about.

Stopped for breakfast here after driving all night. Large portions, fast friendly service, good basic breakfast food. What more could you need?

Stopped by for a late night snack. The wait was longer than anticipated but what can you expect at 1230 am. I wanted something light and ordered the chicken salad. My salad was smothered with dressing and I noticed the lettuce was not fresh. Some of the pieces were red and some had red spots. It was disgusting. The only thing I would order from here is pie.

Their Friday fish special gave me food poisoning. Their wait staff(with few exceptions) seem unable to get your order right. The weasel of a manager has an excuse for everything. I wouldn’t recommend anything outside of breakfast, and even then you’re better off going to a local diner.

Surprisingly good for being a breakfast chain restaurant. Most food is fresh and the service prompt. We’ve experienced a real bad service once but the assistant manager took care of the issue like a pro. That was quite impressive.

The only pro about Village Inn is that it is open 24/7, which is certainly convenient but it’s not really worth it. Every time I go there the food is worse and the service is somehow more stale than the time before. They have adopted the theory that if all managers, bussers, and wait staff ask if everything is ok, I will enjoy my crappy food more. They also claim to have the world’s best pie which is a joke for sure. Now that I know there is a local option for late night dining(King’s Chef Diner, open from 9pm-4am), I will be going there any time I have a late-night breakfast craving and I recommend that you do as well! Nasty décor in there as well. Ew.

Wi-fi. Open 24 hours. They recently redid the ambiance — it looks a little nicer. A friend and I have gone to this Village Inn for years, usually on a week night. The staff are usually friendly and competent. The quality of food is okay and comparable to Denny’s. Nothing wild, but breakfast anytime, pies, and if you order coffee, they usually give you a full pot so the waitstaff doesn’t have to constantly go back and forth to give you refills. Nice touch.

I didn’t try the pie… but I enjoyed their breakfast! I went on a Sunday morning, didn’t have to wait too long. Trying to figure out what I wanted to order for breakfast was tough — I ended up going with a breakfast skillet, bacon, eggs and potatoes all in the same bowl. Great decision. Lots of food for a great price.

Came in late night, special ordered a low cholesterol dish of scrambled eggs. They accommodated. They promptly came out, but tasted horrible. I ate a few bites and asked the waiter, Michael H, if he wouldn’t mind looking into the terrible taste of the eggs. He did and brought the manager, Ben J, with him. Turns out they were spoiled. They could not have been more apologetic. Apparently this was the last carton of Egg Beaters and it had gone bad. I ordered instead an egg white Greek omelette, which was also prepared in what seemed like record time. It was one of the best omelettes I’ve ever eaten. The feta cheese, artichokes and spinach were a killer combo. These guys get customer service and know how to solve problems. They took what could have been a disastrous situation and turned it into a model example of what to do when things go wrong. I was as impressed with the quality of that egg white omelette as I was with their professionalism. The best part was in the end the comped the entire meal(which I had not known when I wrote the original review in the restaurant).

Where else can you get free wifi, lemon meringue pie and seasoned fries at 4am?! Definitely not Denny’s. I never goto Village Inn for a 5 star dining experience. But I do go when nothing else is open, or to hang out with a friend late at night. The food and service is typical of a diner. This Village Inn was recently remodeled and I really dig the combination of vintage and modern elements. All in all«A-OK».

Ambiance: Coffee Shop with a very generic, chain feel. Nothing original in it’s appearance. Seems really popular with the retired crowd. Predictable. Service: I thought my waitress was a robot. Each time she arrived at table, talked like she had memorized a script, and didn’t deviate from it at all. Very monotone with no personality. Really funny when you think about it.(Reminds me of a grown-up version of Vicki the robot from the 80’s sitcom, Small Wonder.) Food: Very boring menu. Had difficulty trying to find something interesting. Went with a club sandwich and fries. Nothing special. I can make a much better sandwich at home. I ordered a slice of banana cream pie for dessert, that was no better than the crummy pies you get a grocery store bakery.(Wish we had a Marie Calender’s here in the Springs, which really does have good pies.) Overall, Yuck! Boring food in a boring atmosphere with non-personable service. I really would rather skip a meal that patronize Village Inn again.
