People had lots of picky complaints. Glad I didn’t listen. Service? 5 stars(both when entering and getting seated and being waited on). Food? We had chicken drummies and they were crazy good. Slow cooked all day. TV’s were all on and playing basketball: great place to watch! Everything won’t always be perfect but it is officially a new fave for us– and we can handle hiccups!!!

I want to be fair and say that the place was packed due to the fabulous Jeffrey Alan band playing. First impression was good, and went down hill from there. The waitstaff was slow at best. If you want to have cute underdressed wait staff, train them on how to deal with customers in large crowds. Hiring for looks is ok if you are serving wings, but not $ 28.00 steaks. I ordered a BLT bloody Mary, it came with no B, L, or T. I was told the bacon wasn’t fresh, so they chose not to use it, but if I wanted the lettuce and tomato I could have it, I asked about the olives promised on the menu and was told«we don’t have any». The drink itself was good, rich and spicy. but for $ 8.99? We ordered a filet with baked potato and salad, and a sandwich with sweet potato fries. It took a long while and the waitress brought my salad out with my meal instead of before. I paid extra for a loaded potato, which I found out was mostly sour cream and butter with a sprinkling of cheese and a garnish of green onion bacon bits. My steak had chunks of burnt grill grit on it which tasted awful, it was sightly over cooked, which wasn’t a big deal but it was definitely well instead of med well. Hubbies Sandwich was thin, very little contents, not the club he expected, on white bread with a handful of half undercooked large fries and half over cooked little fries. Over all the food was sub par, but the waitress never came to see how we were or if the food was ok, so that we could let her know. She only came after we were done to take away plates. When it came time to pay, she had no idea what we had been served, my husband had to show her the items that should be on our bill. I think this restaurant has potential, how ever, either train your staff or find people who have skills other than cute, I don’t care how good the atmosphere is, poor staff will kill a business quick. Your food and drinks should be consistent with what is on the menu or tell a customer in advance if you are out of something so they can make an informed choice. Clean your grill before cooking a steak! A very nice filet was ruined for me with nasty burnt crap on it. Good luck.

If you are from Malibu, California please go home and close your mouth about our Colorado restaurants. You probably eat Tofu and like to surf! This place rocks and the new menu is awesome! Had the Carne Adovada and it was outstanding! Manitou Stack excellent. Pork Chop to die for. Burgers awesome! Did not try the Tofu! Kendra just rocks! Awesome place!

What a great addition to Colorado Springs! The menu is spectacular… everything a man craves. Wonderful atmosphere and tremendously outgoing and friendly staff. This is a beautifully executed restaurant concept and we’ll be returning frequently for beers and to watch the game. Trapper’s Rendezvous sets the bar high and serves delicious food!

Well lets start this off with I’m from Malibu, CA so I wasn’t entirely expecting a lot here. But lets move on. I enjoyed this place. A lot of people complain about the service. But I haven’t had any issues with the service here at all. Shane at the bar and Becky the GM definitely know how to take care of their customers. Food. I can’t write much about the food yet as I haven’t tried anything other than the candied bacon. Although the candied bacon was good. The bacon was cooked properly and the brown sugar was caramelized well. What’s there not to like about candied bacon? lol The atmosphere here is basically guys middle aged and on. But it’s pretty chill and not to crazy at all. I enjoyed a few drinks here and maybe it’s because where I’m from but the prices here are cheap! and it’s awesome! 2 beers, 2 vodkas on the rocks and it was $ 18 wow. I’ll finish this off with. If you want to get a drink and watch the game? go here. It’s far more relaxed than your average loud and crazy sports bar. You could easily bring a date here and actually talk without interruption. Food: Slightly above average. Décor: Updated and new. A lot of TV’s. Staff/Customer service: I had a great experience. Seems to be top notch here. Just have respect for your server and bar tender that’s it. Cleanliness: Seemed to be very clean. Bathroom: N/A didn’t use it.

Fun place to watch the games, enjoy the view and hang with friends!!! Had the continental divide and trapper cheese burger! Very good! Darby was a great waitress and the other staff helped each other.

Looking at the website featuring a half dressed girl turned me off immediately. Also the menu had no style or creativity. Too bad.

Service is great, restaurant is nice and the food is good. Open area to hang out and play pool, watch the game or have a sit down lunch/dinner. Girls are dressed in revealing clothes, get over it, it’s a pub bar with great beer and food!

I would recommend this place for now, but need to visit in the evening to see how the dinner atmosphere turns out. Running and working in one of these bars should be fun and I really didn’t get that from this place. I wanted to try something different. I noticed Trapper’s Rendezvous from I-25 and decided to try it out. I had a couple drafts and enjoyed the free shot. I ordered smothered fries with green chili. They were good, but it took twenty minutes longer then it should have to get them out. They were hot though, so it was really the kitchen being slow. My bartender was great. She took care of me and made me feel welcome. They had a meeting at the end of the bar for waitresses and I can understand why they did. It is important to make sure everyone is on the same page. The only annoying thing about the place was some minor construction being done and it made a lot of noise. I couldn’t really watch the game. Even waitresses were complaining. The amount of televisions were really good. I see a lot of potential in this place although it can be a little bit off the beaten path.

Traveling from out of state and needed a place to watch sports… nailed it! They have the NHL and NFL packages. Wall to wall to wall HD TVs. Extremely accommodating and friendly when I requested a non local market game. Free shot of whiskey when you sit at the bar. Friendly staff and delicious food to boot!

The food was actually pretty good. Not the best pork sandwich I have ever eaten but certainly not the worst. Our server(Sadie) was excellent and the environment was clean and inviting. I’ll come back at some point.

Came here late at night, this was the only restaurant that we found open at 9pm getting back from a long hike. So they get their first star for being open late! The staff is ‘dressed’ in very small articles of clothing, so if that’s offensive you may want to avoid. This is just another hooters, which is pretty disappointing since the real hooters is just down the street, now flanked by yet another booty restaurant(the tilted kilt) making this the last installment of boobies bar in the Rockrimmon area. Ummm, ok. I really don’t care much about what staff wears, but I do care about what they serve and well, yeah… they lack in that department like all booby bars. I ordered the trout(seemed like a ‘healthier’ option) it came SMOTHERED in a cheap mustard sauce that was really not appealing. My friend ordered the CARNEADOVADA which is sort of a breakfast for dinner meal, with meat and a fried egg. She was not very impressed either. The staff was really nice(second star) but it was a VERY cold evening and there was only one waitress who kept going in and out of the patio to serve all customers. She kept leaving the patio door open, which was right behind our table. Yeah, I’d rather not eat wearing a down jacket, but I had to put it on, and she still did not get the hint. I had to get up a few times to close the door, and she STILL did not get the hint. I am guessing this type of booby staff may not get many hints, but that’s ok. I may end up eating here again, but it will be out of necessity(late night options are few and far between) rather than out of choice. Meh, I really had great hopes for a new place in this area, but it’s just another blah chain. Oh well…

I should have listened to Alex. This place provided one of the worst dining experiences I have had the displeasure of having in some time. It takes a lot for me to leave a one star. To start, Nekka, the bartender was one of the worst customer service people I’ve ever come across. It took over ten minutes for me to order a beer, despite it being very slow and Nekka walking past me several times. It took another 15 minutes before I could get her attention(«excuse me. Could I order some food?» across the bar). I’ve never felt a server was more disinterested in serving. The food came out. I was under-impressed with the burger(wolf burger. I don’t understand how the bacon couldn’t make it batter). It didn’t come out with the side it was supposed to. The fries were Ok. On the(limited) positive side, they have a good selection of beer on tap. Though I experienced some other poor service examples, the woman who took over from Nekka(Danica) was much better. Sure the women are nice to look at, but if that’s what you’re after, I recommend the Tilted Kilt. Hell, even Hooters. I won’t be back.

Listen… I don’t care much for insecurity. Girlfriends… If you love bacon this place is a MUST visit. Yes there are pretty waitresses that are going to be prettier than you but let’s face it ladies… If you love bacon as much as I do, put your insecurity aside and have the ¾ in. Candied bacon appetizer! It’s the unicorn of bacon!!! Enough said… BACON!!!

If Hooters and Texas Roadhouse had a love affair then Trappers’ R is the love child. Certainly a higher end version of Hooters with the girls wearing very cute outfits and the same shorts they wore to their 2pm class before heading to work. All of them adorable, friendly, and a bit green. My waitress was under 21 by her own admission and wasn’t sure if they served Kettle One nor knew the details of happy hour.(Which btw does not include Friday. WTFWTFWTF. I reiterate. WTF kind of sports bar have you ever been to that doesn’t have happy hour on Fridays? unacceptable). Wait, what? You don’t know the liquor you carry because of your age? No missy. Your age is not a reason not to know the product. Being new, is a decent reason for a bit. I let that slide. Why? Because I’m kind-hearted towards new wait staff. They definitely have some kinks to work out on a smooth operation such as: making sure I always have a drink, not forgetting my plate with my app, and if you take my silver wear, please replace. :) all simple little things that rate you higher and I have no doubt will improve with time. The bussers ironically were total pros. Incredibly attentive and nere’ a dirty dish nearby. With that, despite the«greenery» of the some of the staff they were incredibly sweet and helpful girls. Not even one token«ugly fat chick» which drives me nuts. I want to look at pretty things. :) I enjoyed the view. Not just the waitresses, but if you sit on the patio facing the mountains then there is a great view of the mountains! So many peaks… So little time. Moving on to food. The candied pork belly app with brown sugar and cayenne was delish! Well seasoned and not over cooked. The pieces were generous and a good way to start off the meal. I enjoyed the chicken chicharonnes(sp?) i.e. Fried chicken sandwich which lacked a bit of spice but nothing some heat(seasoning, not temp) couldn’t cure. It was a large helping and I left full. However… The coup d’ etat was the Mac and cheese side. It had bits of bacon and chilies which gave it a nice crunch and spicy on the back end. Not unlike the cucumber and jalapeño drink. It wasn’t too bad. Certainly an acquired taste but had decent booze and really grew on me. I also tried the grapefruit marg that had grapefruit, agave, and tequila and that was by far my favorite and I only had three drinks total. I also tried the Trappers’ Tea which you wouldn’t think would be good because it has actual, literal tea(Earl Grey and chamomile) in it, but it was surprisingly refreshing. So, the moral of this story is, I would’ve rated a tad lower for service because they have a lot of small wrinkles to iron out before it is the fine silk shirt of service I enjoy. They are friendly and nice so the cornerstone is there. With a little time and training all will be well. The food is yummy, well priced and the servings are also comparable. I will go back to see how the little ladies are and if they have trapped me for good. This time, I escaped but will be back in a few months to try another meaty morsel and it will hopefully be fulfilling. Idea: perhaps a good place for a week night game? Great ambience!

Slow service! Music too loud & wrong music for the atmosphere. Music should be background and more country. Food mediocre & prices are high. A guy’s sports bar! Probably won’t go back.

We really enjoyed the food here. The food is Pub food with a twist. All of it was fresh and hot and the portions were perfect for the price. Our waitress was super pleasant and very informative when helping us make choices on the menu. This will be our new go to place for casual food especially during football season.

We happened upon this place and thought we would try it out. Didn’t expect the tiny waitress uniforms, but whatever. The food was great. I am giving it 3 stars because of the service. All of the waitresses were more worried about looking at their phones and sitting around talking with each other than waiting on their customers. We would go back for the food.

This place is so good! I’ve been here numerous times since it’s opened and have enjoyed it every time. Trapper’s is clearly a guy’s restaurant but it’s great for women too! The waitresses are always very sweet and attentive which is sets them a part from a lot of places. For the food I definitely recommend the chips and queso which has always been consistently delicious! I also recommend the steak. I think there needs to be a bit more consistency on the doneness, but when they nail it, it is SO good! Lastly I recommend going to the bar. If you sit at the bar for the first time that night you will get a free half shot of whiskey!

The only downside to this place is it’s a little pricey($ 10 – 12 a plate) but just a little. The food is pretty good, the regular fries are some of the best fries I’ve had. The girls are all very beautiful. Would go again. Also, salads should be bigger and have more toppings.
