If you want to see a company run right, look no further. Me and my family have been shopping here for the last 3 years and the staff are always attentive and knowable both in the selling and buying of firearms. Every used firearm I’ve bought has preformed flawlessly and was sold to me at an extremely competitive price. On the flip side, every gun I’ve sold here I felt I got a good value for and that I was treated respectfully and fairly throughout the transaction. Its hard to find a gun store where the associated are both knowledgeable AND customer service oriented and that has a clean, family friendly atmosphere, but Stop Drop & Shop does it all.

Absolutely pleased with my experience here. The men working were refreshing. Finally, a gun shop with workers that don’t immediately treat me like some dumb broad who might accidentally shoot off her own ear while brushing her hair. I knew what I was looking for and they didn’t try to sell me something other than what I wanted. Although they offered to order me a different model, they had exactly what I was looking for and within 15 minutes (given to me with love by the government background check processing time, not the workers), I was able to leave with the exact shiny new handgun that I had gone to various other shops to find. Very pleased, and will return.
Note: they do not do gun repairs here!
Other notes: respectable selection… ability and willingness to order what isn’t in stock… knowledgeable and respectful staff… AND buy/​sell/​trade options. (The …‘s are for dramatic emphasis)
Overview opinion note: This is actually a pretty legit little storefront– not what meets the eye simply because of the friendliness and quality of their staff. Definitely worth avoiding the larger gun shops, and more established places filled with grumpy old political pushers.
My only suggestion for them would be to expand the gun cases to improve in stock selection to cut out the other half of their pawnshop-​ish side. Guns, ammo, and accessories is all this place needs, not random jazz like stereos.

This is my #1 gun shop. They have a great inventory of new and used. Some great antique firearms from time to time. Good ammo inventory as well. The staff is very knowledgeable and relaxed. They have a very helpful layaway program that I have personally had great success in using as well.
