Pretty solid hotel, but it was a bit chaotic because a huge group of football-playing kids were staying here at the same time we were. Our room was nice and clean but the layout was a bit angular because we were right next to the linen/laundry room. Props for the shampoo and conditioner being Paul Mitchell, but my mom complained the shower didn’t get hot enough. Beds were pretty comfy but the TV was in a weird position so we kind of had to crane our necks to see. Breakfast was chaotic because there were kids everywhere, and the eggs looked powdered so I stuck with the oatmeal which had a great variety of toppings(brown sugar, cinnamon, cranberries, raisins). Bananas and apples were plentiful, but the English muffins tasted weird to me for some reason. Employees at the front desk were nice and helpful :)

A great little Marriott property that isn’t too far from the main amenities on Powers. The rooms are small, but clean. The staff on hand is very friendly and are willing to help out in any ways possible if you need anything. A big plus for me is the housekeeping staff. They take great care of my room and even left me a few items since I’m staying awhile. It’s the small touches that make a good hotel a great place to stay when you’re away from home. The only downside is the interior is a bit dated and the breakfast choices could be a bit better, but breakfast and wifi are free so I’m not complaining just observing. If you’re looking to decide between this hotel and the Townplace next door this place offers more Marriott points, but next door offers a stove with their kitchenette. The rest is up to you :-)

Stayed here one night & have to give them a shout out for something I never see in hotels: a nightlight in the bathroom. Nice touch!

Stayed here for a quick over-night business trip to Co Springs, and this was a great hotel. Complimentary parking and internet, just a few miles from the airport(no airplane noise noted), and had the basic amenities I’d hope for. The Market on site and microwave saved me from starving after a late-night meeting.(There is a service that you can call for«room service» that is not affiliated with the hotel, but the 45 minute wait time eliminated that option.) Staff was VERY friendly and efficient to get me taken care of. The TV channels leave something to be desired, but small trade off in my book. I’d return, for sure.

Stayed here two nights while daughter & family moved from a home in Colorado Springs & they were in temporary billeting at Peterson. Very nice hotel; clean; quiet; friendly staff; reasonable rates. I’ll definitely return.

(3.50 stars) A nice, conveniently located motel, the suites are comfortable. Front desk efficiency is outstanding, and Cody’s attention to detail and his friendliness are worthy of mention. This Springhill location is clean and well-maintained, offers plenty of free parking, exceptionally good free WiFi and good water pressure and hot water. Typical of my prior stays in this chain’s properties, the television is awkwardly placed between rooms, providing poor viewing angles to both. Television channel selection is in dire need of update.

My business travels bring me to Colorado Springs every once in a while and I decided to give good olé’ Springhill Suites a try since it’s pretty close to work and food options. Service is pretty good. I get greeted when I walk in the lobby almost every time and the desk clerk spends minimal amount of time to get my room key ready for me, which spells preparedness. I usually end up getting a double queen so I get a room a little bigger than normal. However, the layout of the room is pretty absurd. The walls bend in awkward angles such that the TV needs to be placed on a rotating mechanism so that you can turn the tv all the way to the other side to watch in your bed. And even then, the tv isn’t squared with your line of sight. The maid service does start early, but when you’re working a grave shift you tend to miss out on those things since you rather sleep and not get bothered getting service. I wish there was a way I didn’t have to stay up and wait for the maids to come to get my room cleaned. Even though I requested early maid service, I still had to wait 30 – 45 min before I could enter my room. Sigh. Morning breakfast in the lobby has a waffle iron, the occasional eggs, sausage and ham. The eggs are worse than any fast food joint may provide and I can’t tell if the sausage/ham items are just re-heated from the previous day because they tend to taste a little funky. However the waffles however are pretty darn good since the batter has malt in it. Springhill does have a gym(if you want to call it that). It adorns a treadmill, bike and an elliptical. Its pretty frustrating when you want to go for a workout and the gym is constantly full. For business, its not too bad and I would come back here again on future travels.

The suites were comfortable with a fantastic view of Pikes Peak. The rooms were cramped but well appointed with comfortable furniture. We enjoyed the morning breakfast. Being unfamiliar with Colorado Springs, the front desk staff provided excellent directions to the goings on in Colorado Springs. Located next to the airport I was expecting alot of noise, but it was very quiet. On our next vacation, we would visit again. They do support FREE internet! A bonus when you are 800 miles from home.
